Shinji's p.o.v

I sat on the couch with Jasper. I know so much about her...... but at the same time I didn't know that much about her. "Hay Jasper." I said and patted Lucy since she had her head in my lap. "Ya?" Jasper asked. "Can you tell me more about where you came from?" I asked and leaned on her arm. "Well...... Alright." Jasper said. I smiled and looked up at Jasper waiting for her to start. "Well i come from a planet called Homeworld. The planets quiet big. It has no plant of organic life. It can only make gems like me or the others." Jasper said. I listened to every word Jasper said. When she started to talk about this person called Yellow diamond she slightly stuttered under her breath.

"Yellow diamond?" I asked. "Yes....... She's a large gem. Much bigger then me. She has a long neck and..... Well the diamonds are just perfect!" Jasper said.

Jasper's p.o.v

"I mean they have no flaws! No defects! There perfect!" I said most of my emotions getting mixed together. "Jasper....." Shinji said softly and placed a hand on my cheek. "No ones perfect. They can say there prefect but in reality...... They have the most defects...... I mean...... look at me..." Shinji said her voice stuttered slightly. "I mean im blind and I can barely do anything without needing help........ I mean think about it. I though i would never find anyone...... but my thoughts were proven wrong when I met you." Shinji said as a few tears fell. I bite my bottom lip and wiped the tears away with my thumb.

"Well maybe..... but the diamonds have no defects or anything." I said. "Jasper stop saying that...... they only say that. They cant prove it. Tell me do they do any work?" Shinji asked. "Well no. They have other gems do the work." I said. "Do they ever do anything on there own? Without another gem doing most of the work?" Shinji asked. "No..... they always have a gem that would be right for the job......" I said confusion on where Shinji was going with this. "Well there. The defect no one could not see." Shinji said. "What do you mean?" I asked. "There defect..... They rely on other gems to do there work. Form what you say they couldn't even fight without needing a few gems like you to weaken there opponent." Shinji said.

I froze when I realized that she was right. Everything I thought about the diamonds were wrong. I always thought they had other gems with them when they go out to see if they were worth keeping. I glared at the floor as an image of Yellow diamond flashed into my eyes.

I was so angry. But I didn't want to bring it up right now. I huffed and though about how the progress of the drill was. I sighed and leaned back. "Don't worry Jasper...... the truth hurts for a while. But when you know the truth....... You'll be able to have no fear when you fight." Shinji said with a soft smile and sat in my lap. "You know what Shinji...... your right." I said and kissed Shinji's forehead. Shinji giggled a little and wrapped her arms around my neck. "If Yellow diamond comes to Earth I wont have to fear about her so called strength." I said nuzzling into her neck.

"There's my strong tiger." Shinji giggled. "And theres my giggling human." I said with a smile.

Hay everyone sorry for the slow updates. With the new episodes I've been thinking of how I was going to add what ever happens in it. Especially with this coming up!

I need to think of a way to bring in these five Ruby's! So the next update might be a bit...... plus I have school final exams next week so theres that too. I'll update when i can. See you all next time!
