Chapter 24: The Uchiha Siblings [Naruto]

"Begin!" Hayate shouted as he brought down his arm between them and jumped back. Kabuto wasted no time as he struck forward not giving her time to even activate her Sharingan or raise her arms for defence. His strike was head-on into her stomach sending her back a good distance. She rolled back on her hands and flipped over Kabuto as he attempted another hit. She turned on her heel catching his wrist, he turned to pull her arm with him and slammed his hand into her shoulder. I heard a sickening break and a cry escaped her lips as he jumped back and she dropped to her knees. I glanced to Sasuke a brief moment and noticed how white his knuckles had gotten from his tight grip around the railing.

"Rin watch out!" I snapped back to the battle just as Rin went flying across the room and slammed into the opposite wall her body fell forward and she hit the ground with a thud.

"He's so fast, how the hell..." I put a hand on Sasuke's shoulder and he looked up at me.

"Don't count her out yet, this is just the start. That boy is trying to make sure she can't fight back, he knows she can beat him." He nodded slightly as we looked back to the fight. Kabuto smirked.

"The Uchiha aren't worth much huh?" I glanced at Hayate as he raised his hand about to call the match but he paused and I knew he felt it too. That sudden malice and hatred in the air. He lowered his hand as he glanced to Rin who was slowly picking herself up from the ground.

"You want to see what the Uchiha are worth?" She taunted as she stood face still facing the ground as she grabbed her limp shoulder. With a quick pull and another sickening snap I knew she popped her shoulder back in place.

"I want to see what a real Uchiha is worth," Kabuto responded putting an emphasis on real. Her laugh was dry and humorless as it echoed through the room and I noticed Sakura shudder at the sound.

"No more games then, I'll show you!" Her eyes shot up blazing red like flames and I noticed Kabuto take a slight step back.

"Afraid?" He raised his hands.

"Bring it on Princess." She shot forward then ducking under his punch and catching his arm with a quick turn she threw him across the room. In this time she brought her hands together and my eyes widen slightly, she never used ninjutsu.

"Ninja art fire style, fireball jutsu!" The ball of flame rolled towards him and dispersed once it hit the wall. Rin pulled a kunai making a sharp turn just missing Kabuto.

"Your aim is off." She smirked making a single hand sign.

"Not exactly." An explosion rocked the stands and sent Kabuto flying. Rin's eyes widened as the clone exploded.

"Now you're done for." She turned reaching for a Katana that wasn't there, her eyes widening more in that realization.

"Die!" She made a slight gagging noise and slumped into him as he slammed a kunai into her chest.

"Rin!" I held my hand out stopping Sasuke as he attempted to jump forward.

"Kakashi Sensei..."

"Wait." Her laugh sent a chill through my spine and I noticed Kabuto's eyes widen.

"I-Impossible how did you..." She stood straight a smirk on her face as the tomes in her eyes began to spin.

"Genjutsu." He breathed and my eyes widened at the same realization as she raised her hand forming a single hand sign. I shook my head feeling slightly dizzy as the genjutsu receded. Rin was standing still by the wall with her hand over her shoulder healing it as her eyes focused on Kabuto. She hadn't even moved.
