He took a deep breath and checked everything he was holding.

A chocolate bar.

Well that's about it.

He ran his hand through his hair and pressed the doorbell.

A very cute Winter appeared at the door a few seconds.

"It's you!"

Her face was evident of shock and a little bit of anger.

"Yeah, I'm sorry."

Winter stared at him before breaking out into a smile.

"I got you. I got you!"

He looked up in confusion.

"What?"

Winter took a step closer to him.

"I knew it was you, Karter. And you lied to me. What a bad boyfriend."

Karter felt guilty for lying to her. In reality, he was afraid of what Winter's reaction to finding out that he was the creep who made her fall in love.

"I'm sorry."

Winter grinned at him and grabbed his hand.

"Let's eat some ice cream."

Karter just smiled at his girlfriend.

"It is sad, I mean, look at the baby!"

Karter rolled his eyes. "He looks perfectly happy to me, Winter."

"Well Manny isn't. Sid as well."

"You know Sid, forever the emo sloth."

Winter decided to watch Ice Age and eat some cookie dough ice cream. She knew that the movie would always make her cry a little but she wanted to watch her favourite movie with one of her favourite people on this planet.

"Sid is me. I'm an emo sloth."

Karter laughed as Winter pulled her cheeks downward.

"You're not. Well, sometimes you might be emo but you're definitely not a sloth. You're a penguin. My penguin."

Winter turned pink as Karter wrapped his arm around her shoulder.

"So, um, any movie you wanna watch?"

She sneezed on Karter's hand and he made an uncomfortable face.

"Oh shoot. I'm really sorry. That must feel super disgusting."

Karter smiled. "It did. I'll clean it, you go put on another movie." He reached for a tissue and wiped the spot where Winter sneezed.

Winter internally shouted at herself for that sneeze and put on Ice Age 2.

"I win! In your face, loser."

Karter stuck out his tongue at a pouting Winter as he just beat her at a thumb restling game.

"You kissed my cheek, you cheated!"

"Admit it babe, you enjoyed it."

She secretly smiled to herself as she rolled her eyes.

Karter sat closer to her and held out his hand.

"Another one?"

"Not if you're going to kiss me."

"Well then, can I kiss you?"

Winter laughed nervously at Karter's request. She couldn't say no, right? I mean, did you look at his face?

"Um, yeah sure."

"You don't seem so sure."

"What do you want me to say? Kiss me Karter I lo-"

Winter was shocked as he felt his lips on hers. She didn't know to do so she just closed her eyes and tried to act like she was doing great.

"Karter.."

"That was awesome! First kiss baby."

He held his fist out and Winter bumped her fist with his.

"I really like you Winter." Karter smiled as he held her hand.

"I really like you too, Karter." Winter smiled with her cheeks brighter than a tomato, her head on his shoulder.

i am not satisfied with this chapter but wattpad being wattpad deleted the other chapter i had saved so i had to go with this sucky ending :(

but still, i hope you guys liked this because it's the end!! texts is now officially complete and i'm sorry if you guys got mad or confused about karter haha and to those of you who thought it was Hubert you made my day

after this, I'll be posting a spin off based on this story which is about winter's little sister, Daisy! i might post it tomorrow and it'll involve these two weirdos as well. it's going to be titled 'Talks'. yes texts and talks how cliche

oh one more thing, the guy at the side is how i picture Karter to be, i am not setting any casts because i would like the readers to decide how each character look like :) but the picture is just how I picture Karter to be minus the tattoos. I couldn't find anyone suitable for Winter though but i did imagine her to have dark hair, short and very blue eyes. kinda like Ryan Newman
