I stepped on broken glass as the blood beneath my feet flowed like a river of fire
The pain and the agony to come was nothing compared to what you have done to me
I wept and I slept picturing a world of harmony and happiness
But when I awoke I found myself surrounded by a dark pit of emptiness and sorrow
Why ? Why must I feel the need to end this ?
Why torture myself when I can be free ?
I search for the light in the end of the tunnel but all I found was , nothingness.
I hold on to my broken heart as the pieces fall as I walk . My lips are dried and my eyes are burning
The pain I feel now , there's no turning
Pain is the only one that has freed me .
I have spread out my wings . I'm free to fly in to a world where I can be happy.
I smile as I walk down a patch of flowers who's petals are blowing in the wind carrying a song
That says "go rest now my child , you're free in the arms of your father . Close your eyes and sleep ." For we are together now in heaven with glee
