Chapter 1: MISSING

~ Uzumaki Household ~

"Mom, I'm home!" Boruto called out from the doorstep as he open the door

"Welcome back, Boruto." His mother, Hinata, greets him with a smile while wearing an apron and holding a ladle

"Welcome back, Brother!" Himawari, his younger sister greets him with a hug

"Where's Dad?" Boruto asked looking for his Seventh Hokage father

"He's sleeping upstairs. He's in a day-off." Himawari answered running upstairs to her room, "You also better take a rest, nii-chan! You have a big day tomorrow!" She called to her brother before she closed the door of her room

"Okay then... I'm sleeping, Mom"

"I'll call you guys when dinner's ready..."

~ Uchiha Household ~

The doorbell rang at the Uchiha family's household. Sarada jumped off her seat and walks to the door.

"Coming!" She opens the door and was surprise to see the visitor, "Papa!"

She hugs her father. Happy to see him after his mission. They went inside to greet Sakura who was cooking in the kitchen

"Welcome home, Sasuke" she smiled

Sasuke smiled back and hugged both his wife and daughter, "I'm home..."

~ Orochimaru's Hideout ~

The gates of the hideout creaked open. Entering was a boy in a blue ancestral kimono/yukata. He was greeted by a man with pale skin complexion and snake-like eyes, Orochimaru.

"Welcome home, Mitsuki. How was your day? Is it enjoyable?"

"I'm home. Yes, it was. I  fact, I enjoyed it more than ever"

Mitsuki earned a pat on the head by Orochimaru. The boy gave him a warm smile.

~ Nara Training Ground ~

"What am I going to do with this huge fan?" Shikadai asked his mother in front of him, Temari. Beside her was Shikadai's father, Shikamaru

"Your mother thought about teaching you her technique..." Shikamaru said

"It'll be an easy one, Shikadai, promise. It's an easy technique combine with a wind ninjutsu..." Temari assured her son

For the first time, Shikadai's face was painted with an ammused smile, "That won't be troublesome at all..."

~ Yamanaka Base ~

"Concentrate, Inojin! I know you can do it!" Ino cheered for her son

They were in their base training Inojin the Mind Transfer Jutsu, a jutsu passed down in the Yamanaka Clan. Training him how to use and control it.

Inojin only managed to read his father's thoughts...

"Dad, you're planning on painting Mom during the opening of the flower shop?" He asked
