Author's Note: LOL. Okay, I decided that chapter nine was FAR too short to be a full chapter for part three, and so this chapter is chapter three and a half. ALSO, please google translate the conversations that are in Latin. :)

Also, this chapter is dedicated to MeTheDumbBlonde, because I just began to read her stories, and I love them already! You should seriously check out her works, they're truly amazing! :D

Anyways, I do not take ownership of Harry Potter, its' characters and it's world. I only claim my characters! :D

Chapter Three and a Half: They're Coming

Violet pulled herself from out of my grasp, as I watched in awe at the brown-headed girl walking back into the Great Hall with an evil grin on plastered onto her face. I immediately ran towards Violet, however Violet beat me to it, as she began to run towards the Gryffindor Table. Would my life at Hogwarts always be like this? I thought to myself as I chased Violet back to the Gryffindor Table. I arrived at Gryffindor Table, with Violet sitting beside Piper, grinning mischieviously at Piper. I bit down on my lip hard, as I realized what was going to happen. I began walking towards the table, a fake smile on my face.

"H-Hey guys! Um, Violet, what do you think you're doing here?" I asked Violet awakwardly. Violet gave me a quick glare as she turned her head back to Piper and smiled. She looked back at me with an obvious fake smile forced upon her face.

"Well, this is the Gryffindor table, right? And, oh! Am I not a Gryffindor? I think I am, Cruz." Violet responded stirring her coffee as she spoke. She looked up at me with a satisfied look on her face, as I arched my left eyebrow. So this is what she wants to play. I thought. I sighed loudly. I was about to respond, however Piper beat me to it.

"Oh, she doesn't mean why are you here. What I mean is why are you trying so hard to be liked by me?" Piper cut me off. My eyes widened. Does she realize what she is doing?! Violet slammed her mug of coffee down on the table loudly. She stood up and as did Piper. Violet laughed, obviously pissed at Piper.

"Oh, oh. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, Miss...excuse me but what exactly are you?" Violet put up her hand, cutting off Piper. By now, the entire school had their eyes on Violet and Piper. "I actually really don't care who you, or what you do." Violet laughed. "I am actually very amused that you think that I would actually want to be your friend." Violet glared down at Piper as she took a sip of her coffee. Piper's head jerked ever so slightly to the side.

"Wow. Okay, um Miss.Thing. But uh, you were the one that walked over to me, and started interregating me, with that stupid smile on your face. And now, you start being all sassy to my friend? Um, okay you seriously need to go to the Hospital Wing, and go and get your attitude checked." Piper started to walk away. Violet was about to remark, when Piper put up her hand to silence her. "Oh! And while you're there, you may want to get that green malarky out of your hair while you're at it. Come on Ana, Fred and George, let's get away from this mess." Piper finished looking straight into Violet's now blazing eyes. Piper took George's hand and turned back around and walked away. That was the last straw, Piper. That would be the last straw for Violet. I knew it would be. We were now outside the Great Hall. I turned to look at Violet, when I realized that Violet was running at Piper, her wand in hand, ready to cast a spell at any given moment.

"PIPER!" I exclaimed, warning my old best friend. Piper quickly turned around, confused. Her eyes widened as she stared at the scene that was taking place. I looked at Piper's face. She looked so scared and vulnerable, unlike the usual fearless and confident girl I knew. I shut my eyes competely shut as realized what I must do. I opened my eyes once more, to see Violet still running towards Piper, as Piper simply stood there, frozen in place. I shut my eyes shut once more as I concentrated on the scene that was just being taken place, as time began to slow down. I could hear the voices behind me starting to slow down and lower as time was stopping. Finally, I opened my eyes. The entire school was frozen in time, all but me. I exhaled, relieved. I took in the scene that was taking place; Piper, was standing in the exact same place she was just a moment ago, and as was everyone else in the school. I sighed.
