It's an interesting feeling, to have a best friend and then for that person to become a stranger.
I did not think it would happen like that with you, but it did, and it hurt, it still does.
Although, what hurt the most was when it was my birthday and I got birthday wishes from people I hadn't seen in years and even from strangers, but you were not even among those strangers—considering the fact that you are a one nowadays.
Remember you told me that I was special to you, because I was the only person that had wished you a 'Happy Birthday' last year and the only that had placed thought into giving you something for your birthday ? Well, I did it because you were my friend, and that's what friends do.
So, I waited until midnight, and even the midnight after my birthday for a birthday wish from you, but then, I lost hope in what I thought was a friendship.
I lost hope in hearing you say 'Happy Birthday' with your weird voice, I lost hope in you, I lost hope in our friendship.
Don't worry though, even if you forgot my birthday or simply ignored it, I will not forget yours.
