Chapter 22

Rae's POV

Andito na kami sa reception ng Wedding. Lolo and I currently dancing.

"I'm happy that you're happy." He says.

"I love him Lolo. I'm sorry kung maaga akong nabuntis at kinasal."

"It's okay. I'm still proud of you Apo. After you gave birth you can still go to school and make us more proud."

A tear pool down to my face. Sana ganito din si Daddy saakin, yung sasabihin niya na proud siya dahil anak niya ako o kahit sa mga achievements ko man lang sana.

Hindi nakarating si Kuya Trevor sa kasal ko. Feeling ko pinagbawalan siya ni Daddy pero I'm thankful na andito sila Mamita at Lolo and hearing those words from him, napaka thankful ko talaga na kahit papano he can say that he's proud of me despite sa nangyari saakin.

"Thankyou so much Lolo. You don't know how your words makes me happy."

"Are you over whealemed?" He asks.

"Yes, I think yes." 

"No, don't be. You deserved the best of everything Apo." 

I smiled to him. "Your husband is next on the line." He said.

He let go of my hands and Kurt stepped forward. Parang Debut lang yung nangyayari saakin ngayon.

"Hi." I said as we start moving.

"Hi." 

"We're married." I just said dahil wala na akong ibang masabi. He just gave me his most sweetest smile. 

We just dance with the soft harmony. Not talking but just keep on moving. I know the people around are staring at us, especially Tiffany. Gustong gusto ko sabihin sa kanya na wala na siyang magagawa dahil akin na si Kurt at gagawin ko lahat lahat hindi lang siya lumagpas sa pagiging bestfriend.

The ceremony has ended and andito na kami lahat sa labas. Mama hand us an envelope.

"What's this?" Kurt asks.

"It's a trip to Batangas for 2 days. Honeymoon Kurt."

Eh? Honeymoon? Buntis na nga ako honeymoon pa?

"Don't worry. Pinagpaalam na kita sa school. It's just 2 days. Enjoy mga anak!" 

We hugged Mama. I hugged them all and said our goodbyes.

Hours later we've reached our destination. It's a resort. I felt the cold breeze as I stepped out of the car. It's already 12:30 AM.
