After my "lovely" encounter with Perry Mulland, I lost my appetite, so I just decided to hang out in the library. Nerd, you're probably thinking. Well, here's my response:NO, just NO! I mean, just because I'm hanging out in the library on my own freewill doesn't automatically classify me as a nerd. Plus, I'm not even studying;I'm playing games on my phone!
I looked up from my game after a while and saw the librarian giving me death glares. What was her problem? My game's volume was turned on low.
I was about to turn around to restart my game when deep azure eyes attached to a light golden brown haired girl caught my eye--or should I say eyes, as in plural?
Only one person I knew had that killer combination of hair and eyes:Danon Henderson. Damn her for knowing me so well!
But that's not all...She was waving her arms frantically in my direction and mouthing Cracker. No wonder the librarian was frying me to ashes with her death glare! I honestly might have to rethink who is crazier:Ms. Kamon or Danon? Nope...still Ms. Kamon. I mean, really...Who stalks the 'love of their life' behind a coffee mug?
My thoughts were soon cut off by Danon SCREAMING my name. Has she gone completely berserk? This is the library, and I'm pretty sure she's attracting the attention of everyone---if she hadn't earlier of course. Why can't Danon just come inside the library and quietly tap my shoulder or something?
And then...I noticed the half eaten apple in her hand. You see, our library has a policy against bringing food inside, a.k.a. no half eaten apples.
WHY!?! Why did she have to ruin my life? There went my idea of staying low to make it out of high school alive. I mean, SERIOUSLY, throw away the dang apple!!!
To put it short...she didn't, so the librarian ended up kicking ME out of the library...That librarian's going into my book of crazy school employees too.
"Because of YOU, I was kicked out of the library,"I complained angrily.
"Sorry,"apologized Danon, looking down at the floor ashamed. "I just wanted to get your attention."
"Well, did you not see me looking at you while you were waving your arms around like a maniac?"I asked, my eyebrows raised.
"Heh, heh,"she said guilty. "I kinda wanted to annoy you even more---"
"My god, Danon! What is your problem?" I said, my eye now twitching. By the way, that's a BAD sign...
"Uh oh. Your eyes are twitching,"she commented.
"I know,"I stated, sighing. "Now tell me WHY you decided to 'get my attention'?"
"I was worried about you,"Danon started."You weren't at lunch, so I came looking for you. Then I found you here, and you only come to the library when something's bothering you..."
"Fine. I accept your apology."How could I NOT? She was just so guilty, and all for being worried about me.
"Do you want to tell me what happened?"
"Okay...I was just walking to the cafeteria,"I rambled on and on, explaining to Danon about the incident that happened moments ago with a certain platinum Blondie. She didn't interrupt once, which meant she was really engrossed in my story.
By the end, she was speechless.
"Wow,"Danon finally said, eyes fixed on nothing in particular.
I was a bit scared about her reaction, so I just started snapping my fingers in front of her face to wake her up from her daze. Thankfully, it was successful.
"Well, what are you going to do about it?"Danon asked.
"Can we just not talk about that right now?"I nervously began playing with my natural light brown strands of hair.
"Sure,"Danon answered.
"So,"I started, changing the subject."My locker after school, right?"
"Right."

The door was unlocked, so we went right in.
Ms. Kamon was sitting in her black swivel chair, typing on her DELL laptop. She didn't even see us walking through the classroom door. That was how focused she was.
"Hey, Ms. Kamon,"I greeted, startling her.
"Oh, hi, Cracker,"she replied."And don't call me Ms. Kamon. It makes me feel old. Call me Stephanie. Got it?"
Was Ms. Kamon SERIOUS? Well, guessing by her tone, I guess she was...
"Yep. Sorry 'bout before,"I apologized.
"No problem. Now, who's this?"Ms. Kamon questioned, her eyes on Danon, genuinely curious.
"Ms. Ka--Stephanie, meet my best friend, Danon,"I introduced."Danon meet Stephanie."
After they both said their greetings, I continued.
"Danon is here to help us with the whole Mr. Todd situation. We came here to show you the step-by-step plan we made. Viola,"I exclaimed, handing Ms. Kamon the plan.
"Perfect,"she squealed excitedly after reading it all."When are we doing step one?"
"How about this Friday after school?" I asked, looking back and forth at the two.
"Sure,"they answered in unison.
A/N:Sorry if this chapter seems more like a filler 0-o! But, on the bright side, this chapter was really long in my opinion(maybe longer than even the first chapter. Who knows? ;) ). I hope you liked this story, and please give me advice on how to improve!
2nd A/N: I wrote that author's note a couple weeks back, since I tried to get farther ahead in writing this story and post every week--for at least a LITTLE while, but sadly, that doesn't appear to be happening. SORRY! Blame my school for giving me so much homework that fills up like EVERY. HOUR. OF. MY. LIFE. Once again, I'm sorry and I hope people enjoy this chapter.
