Chapter 17

 

After me and Jacob talked Heather and I went back to my house and talked about her moving down here. My dad was thrilled to have her come down here so he proposed that she move in with us and she would take the spare room for herself. Heather called her parents and they said it was no problem they would send all her stuff down here and hand over her trust fund so had enough money to live on till she found a job or went to college.

I woke up this morning to a sunny day; I took a needed shower and got dressed in a navy blue tank, denim skinnies, black ankle boots and brown leather jacket. I did simple make up, straightened my hair and braided my bangs to the side.

I went to the kitchen and found my dad and Heather eating; it was 11am and we would leave to Sam’s at noon. I sauntered over to the pantry and grabbed a couple of oatmeal cinnamon roll bars and a glass of milk.

‘So what do you and Heather have planned today?’ my dad asked

Heather looked up from her coffee and smiled ‘going to Sam’s I think but other than that I have no clue’ she said laughing

‘Sam’s than the Cullen’s’ I said laughing at her excitement

‘That will be fun just make sure to call me when your coming home because I might be at Charlie’s watching the game or something’ my dad got up from the chair and left the room.

Heather and I finished eating and went back to my room. I picked up my guitar and started playing random tunes

‘So when are we leaving to Sam’s?’ Heather asked as she logged onto my computer

‘In 20 minutes I guess’ I said looking at the clock; it was already 11:40

‘You really want to go down there don’t you’ I said slyly

‘Well I want to make friends here’ she said awkwardly

‘It’s fine, just funny because you’re super hyper. By any chance did you have sugar’ I asked eyeing her with daggers

‘Maybe’ she said hyperly; she always did get hyped out because of sugar.

We arrived at Sam’s getting there at 12:15. I walked up to the door with Heather behind me; I knocked three times and heared someone coming. The door opened revealing Emily

‘Long times no see Kora how are you’ she said giving me a warm friendly hug

‘I’m good I want to introduce you to my other half Heather; Heather this is Emily Sam’s fiancée’ I said introducing them

‘Nice to meet you Heather’ Emily said giving Heather a hug also

‘Nice to meet you also’ Heather said

‘You guys come in and grab some food; if there is any’ Emily said laughing.

We walked in to find all the boys eating food and not paying attention

‘Boys!’ Same barked and they all stopped eating

‘Could you be civil and look who came over’ he said looking over to us

‘Kora!!’ They all yelled and gave hello’s

‘Who’s your friend?’ Jared asked elbowing Embry who was staring into space
