They drove to his house in silence. Once they got there, they immediately went up to his room and he was now pacing back and forth.

"Okay so I interrogated Smith about the leaked news." Matt started and Lily sat on his bed, listening in silence.

He told her everything about what he'd done, not leaving anything behind. When he said that it was someone who hired Jamie, Lily raked her brain to find out who it could possibly be.

"Well?" He asked as he sat beside her.

"Well, what?" She asked in confusion.

"Do you have any idea who it might be?" He asked as he ran his hands through his white hair.

"No," Lily huffed as she laid on his bed. "Look, it's over now, they found out and the school ain't making it a big deal so maybe we should just drop it?"

"You mean, you don't want to know who almost got your mom to lose her job?"

"Well, I do but," She started and tried to keep her composure as she speak. "I think we're dwelling on this too much. You got suspended for three weeks, Matt."

"That, I didn't know." He said as he shook his head gently. "After I punched him, I skipped classes. I went home."

"Well happy three weeks of home, then." Lily said sarcastically.

"Hey, I'm sorry okay? It's just, when I saw him I just kind of snapped."

"I get it, I do. Look, this will bring your grades down, Matty. Three weeks? Do you have anyone who have the same schedule as you?" Lily asked as a solution came in mind.

"Yeah uh, Daniel Henning. I see him in each and every one of my classes." He said as his eyebrows scrunched together. "Why?"

"That dude looks like he study and takes notes much, yeah?" She asked but he simply shrugged his shoulders. "Do you think he takes notes?" Lily asked, more sternly this time.

"Yes, I think he does. Jesus, don't ever use that voice on me, it's hella scary. I'd rather you yell at me than that." He said and that has caused Lily to laugh.

"I'll borrow his notes every Friday so that you can copy it, stay on track." She said as his eyes widened.

"Yes! You're so smart come here," He said and hugged her till they were both lying on his bed. She can't help but giggle at his response and he kissed her multiple times on the cheeks and everywhere on her face. "What did I ever do to deserve you?"

"Well," Lily spoke as they were both facing each other, he was on top of her while she was lying down. "You did made me that flower necklace."

"What? I don't remember that." He said, blushing. Oh, he looks so cute!

"Yeah, you do. Eight grade, Valentine's Day. When I opened my bedroom door, there were flowers on my bed and three flower necklaces. Real flower necklaces like a lei." Lily recited, smiling.

"Well, yeah okay I do remember it." He said and he laid down beside her. "I just feel like I'm not doing enough for our relationship, y'know?" He started, but this time his attitude went from giggly to serious in a second.

"What?!" Lily asked in response. "You have done more than your fair share in our relationship. I couldn't have asked for it any more differently." She said and kissed his cheeks.

"I love you," He said.

"I love you, too." She replied, with a smile on her face.

As soon as Lily left his house and headed back to hers, Isabelle started ranting at her.

"Why did Matthew beat up Jamie, Lily?" Isabelle asked as Lily sat on their kitchen's stool.
