Luke's P.O.V.
We walked home Emily in the middle but there was a completley new tension there. Maybe because we had just saved a dog, but there was more. I felt like Emily's dad didn't just give me mad looks anymore. I actually saw a few smiles peak through his face.
At their porch James told Emily to go in and then turned to me.
-Ok kid. I still don't like what's happening between you and my daughter but I'm going to allow it.
-I'm very glad to hear that sir.
I was glad to hear it but it was so sick she weren't even aloud to pick who she wanted to hang out with or date. To be honest, the little I've seen of Cortney I think she has worse influence then me.
Kind of the girl that Ashton would go after...Ashton. What had happened there.
I snaped out of my thoughts when Mr. Carenswood placed a hand on my shoulder
-Time to go now Luke. Goodnight he said and actually smiled.
-Goodnight. I Smiled back and turned around and went home.
