As our ship limped in to Naboo, Hux and I reveled in our victory. Hux had managed to damage the shuttle's transmission and communication systems. He also disabled the tracker that would allow other First Order ships to flock to this one.

"It pays," he said,"to escape alongside the person who put all of the codes and restrictions on these ships." He grinned at me as he completely disabled the tracker.

"Good." I replied happily. "It's time to head down onto the surface."

"I'll take us down. Are we going to keep our aliases?" Hux asked me.

"No. Let's use different names. I would not be surprised if Snoke knew the names we were operating under. We need to do anything we can to keep him off of our trail." I had thought of this recently.

"Alright. So what names? I'll be Voran and you can be Aris. Basic, standard, and won't stand out too much on a planet."

"Whatever," I responded to Hux as we landed on the green surface of Naboo, "names don't matter to me anymore. All that matters is you, and the completion of our goals. In that order as well." I winked at him.

"Good man," he responded before answering an incoming message from Naboo.

"Naboo has noted your landing on her territory. The First Order is not welcome here. Please leave. If you need fuel or supplies, things can be arranged by an assistant on this landing platform." The tone of the message was robotic and deadly dull.

"We had better get out and explain that we aren't with the First Order." Hux opened the ship door and checked to make sure he had his newly stocked blasters.

"Where's my lightsaber?" I asked, suddenly realizing that it was missing.

"I don't think we ever got it back. Snoke probably has it, or it is on the Base." Hux sighed regretfully. "Sorry, Kylo."

I let my shoulders sag. Losing my saber was a big deal for me. I could always make a new one, however. We had a decent amount of money for supples.

"I think if we can get the right things in Coruscant or even Naboo, it can be done." Hux was calm as ever, and it soothed me a little.

As we walked down onto the landing pad, a "welcoming committee" of various security officers waited for us.

"This is pleasant," I muttered mutinously.

"Shut up," Hux gently elbowed me in the ribs as he approached the men. "Hello there. I am Voran and this is Aris. We are just bounty hunters. We happened to... appropriate this ship."

I noted Hux was good at playing the scoundrel, similar to my father.

"You can pass, then." The guards stepped aside either out of respect or fear. Either way we were in.

"We did it." I pointed out. "What now?"

"We get back to Coruscant, but first, I think we need to relax a bit. Look around, Kylo. It's beautiful here. It would be great." I looked at him pleadingly. I was tired of running so much. Sitting for a couple days could give us time to relax and  recharge.

I smiled ruefully at Hux. "Two nights. I'm going to have to be able to buy our new ship by then." He looked serious, and I sighed.

"Come on," Hux said, pulling me in for a kiss. "We are safe now, and have a chance to relax and be in love and act normal. Don't pass this safe haven up." On our path, it could be our last time like this. It should not and would not be passed up.
