Fire and Flight [COMPLETED]

chapter one

"Mine!" He growled. I stared at him wide eyed as did everyone else.

"Shit not again." I whispered, but Nathan wasn't suppose to hear it. He growled burying his face in the crook of my neck.

"What do you mean not again your mine!" He growled. I pushed him off and put on a emotion less face.

"Chase are you ok, I know you don't want another mate." My brother caleb said.

I took a deep breath and nodded. "Yeah caleb we still have a mission to do, nothing is going to stop us."

That's when I smelled it, I know caleb smelled it to amd both our eyes widen. "Shit chase they're back!" I nodded putting my bow across my back and arrows in their place. I put my daggers in my boots as caleb adjusted his swords.

At that moment the screams were heard. "Let's go." I said. My brother and I sped off with the filthy dogs behind us.

There they stood. The twin archangels. We stood in a large clearing were there were a little girl and her brother held up by the throats.

"Black Assassins!" I hissed, devin smirked at me. Dylan, and devin were twin archangel assassins who kill innocents.

"Winged Assassins!" Devin hissed. I took a step forward causing his grip to tighten on the boy.

"Are you ok sweetie?" I asked gently. He shook his head. His sister let out a whimper causing him to struggle.

"Please we were just hunting, we haven't fed in a month. Please don't kill us, we are so weak." The boy pleaded.

I looked at caleb and nodded. We both screamed, fire came out of my mouth and ice came out calebs.

We aimed it at the archangels and they immediately turned to ashes. The children came running to us. I lifted the boy and caleb lifted the girl.

The boys fangs came out, awe he looks so cute with his little vampire fangs.

"Can we have a bite please?" The little girl asked. I looked at caleb to see what he was thinking.

"Caleb will our blood kill them?" He shook his head.

"No since we're angels our blood will heal them."

I nodded them pulled my leather jacket off. The boys fangs pierced through my skin and I grimaced. After a few seconds he pulled his fangs out and licked the blood away.

His teeth was stained red so licked his tongue over it. "Thank you..."

"I'm chase." I filled in. "That's my brother caleb, we're angels."

"I'm ashton, and that's my sister nyla." The little boy said. I nodded looking at caleb. The little girl had fell asleep in his arms. He smiled and stroked her cheek.

"Where are your parents?" He stiffened at that before he let out a quiet sob.

"They were killed by one of those." He said pointing to the wolves who kept quiet whole time. I saw my mate with his beautiful silver coat.

"I was six and my sister was five...a-and they broke into our h-house and staked our parents through the heart. I'm seven now, and nyla six." Ashton said with a sob.

I ran my fingers through his hair. "Shh it's ok, I'm not going to hurt you. Angels love all creatures. You want to see my wings?"

He immediately perked up and bounced up and down in my arms. "Yes please! Please!" I giggled.

"Ok, shall we brother?"

"We shall."

I let my wings come out of my shoulder blades. My brother and I are twins so our wings are white, but since I was born two minutes first I have a gold tip on the end.
