Fire and Flight [COMPLETED]

chapter four

Nicky and I crept low to the ground as we watched the creatures do their biddings.

They had humans lined up. The poor things were trembling. Surprisingly I didn't see any children.

The clan leader I'm assuming bit into a humans shoulder drinking them dry. The lifeless human lay dead in front of me. Their cold cold eyes stared back at me.

This brought back unwanted memories that I tried so hard to forget.

I shook my head. "We're a go on your cue chase." Kas said. When they were about to bite another I figured it was time. "Now!"

We all jumped out cornering them. They turned their attention to us, the leader aww sniffed the aur then stiffened.

"Your angels." He stated. I smirked nodding, he gulped. On my cue everyone pounced on a vamp.

I went for the leader pulling out a arrow. I stab h in the side before he bit into my neck. I bit my tongue to hold back a scream.

I wrapped my hands around his neck then heated them. He let out an ear splitting scream causing the commotion to stop. When I looked up I seen all the vamps were gone and the humans safe.

Be kicked me away and I twisted my leg. No doubt it's broken. I screamed causing everyone to cover their ears. Time for plan B.

I took out my holy water from my belt. His eyes widened. "May you burn in hell demon!" I shouted throwing the Holy water on him.

He burned, ashes coming from him till it was nothing but a pile. I tried to stand up but only fell down. Nicky and kas to help me when I saw a vamp heading for Jonny. I launched myself at him landing a punch to his face. He flipped us and started throwing hit after hit.

That was until caleb pulled him off. I wiped my bloody lip with the back of my hand. "Dalia, nicky, take the humans back to safety. Make sure you erase their memories." I said.

They grabbed the scared humans and began to leave when I heard caleb whimper. I looked to them and saw the vamp holding his sai to calebs throat.

"Let my brother go." I spat. He smirked. My temperature was rising, I knew that. I was overheated, knew that to. I was getting into my big sister mode. No one better get in my way.

Everyone stepped back obviously knowing what was about to happen. Suddenly my whole body caught fire. "Leave my brother alone!"

My wings sprung from shoulders, they were covered in fire. The vamp gulped. I lifted off the ground stand tore through the sky, taking the vampire with me.

I landed on the ground but fell due to my broken leg. I looked down at my hand that gas the vamps head that I separated from his body.

My flames died down enugh to see the surprise on everyone's face. "Get the humans to safety and hurry "

Dalia, nicky and kas carried away the humans and Jonny stayed back with caleb. "A little help boys, I can't really walk." They chuckled coming to me.

Jonny lifted me in calebs arms before we sped to the pack house. The trees became a blur, I buried my face in my brothers shirt.

"Thanks sis." Caleb said. I know what he meant so I just smiled and hugged his chest.

"Thank you to for saving me from being beaten to death." He nodded smiling lovingly at me.

When we got to the pack house caleb put me down and I leaned on him for support. The others were already there waiting for us. When they saw us their faces lit up.

Dalia pulled me into her arms. "Geez girl you nearly gave me a heart attack! I'm still not used to your powers."

I chuckled. "Calm down Dalia I'm fine." She glared at me before looking down in my duffel bag where I stuffed the head.

She screamed backing away making me fall. I grunted then kas helped me stand.

"Oh little cousin I see your really falling for me." He said with a wink.

I rolled my eyes. "Yeah I'm so falling at your feet." Sarcastic me.

He smirked. "You said it not me."

I hit his chest. I took the head out of my bag and put it in his face. He shrieked. "Why did you bring that thing?"

I shrugged, not really knowing. "Intruders!" Someone yelled. We looked to see a middle-aged lady with black Hair and glowing skin. She looked like a model.

Nate came out and chuckled at the lady. "It's ok these were the angels I was telling you about." He said. "That is my mate." He said pointing to me.

The lady squealed running to me but my family was way ahead. I formed a circle of fire around us and Jonny put up his force field. While everyone got in a fighting stance around me.

The lady stopped midstep and hid behind nate. "Who are you?" I snarled.

"Chase, baby it's okay this is my mom." Nate said. Baby? He just called me his baby. I felt my heart flutter but I put on a straight face .

I relaxed and we all let our powers down. My foot suddenly ached so I leaned on caleb for support.

"I'm sorry we thought you were an archangel or an assassin." She nodded then a smile lit her face.

She started walking towards me with open arms but I held the dead vamps head in front of her. She shrieked.

"What is that?!" I smirked darkly. The pain went away as I imagined the demons lying cold and lifeless on the ground.

"It's a dead vampires head. I ripped his head from his body." At this revelation nate became alert.

"Why?"

My eyes flared. "Because he was messing with my little brother!" I snarled.

Jonny snickered, I shot him,a glare and he lowered his head in respect. "Oh yea dude you should have seen your mate. She was like let him go then her body caught fire and her wings were glowing gold. It was the best action movie ever!" Kas said to nate.

My eyes widened at the fact that he told my mate that and the fact that he was so excited.

"So that's what happened to your leg?" Nate asked.

I looked away. "Tell me what happened now!" He demanded. I shook my head.

"Now!"

I breathe deeply. "Silence!" I roared, everyone bowed to me. "You don't own me, I am one of the highest ranking angels in all of heaven! And I'll be damned if I let a filthy dog tell me what to do!"

By now I was hovering but my wings weren't out. That's another thing that happens when I'm upset.

Nate let out a whimper before shifting into his wolf. "What have I done?" I whispered running behind him in the forest.

By then my leg had healed and was ok. Did I mention angels heal fast. When I got to a clearing I spotted a naked Nathan and....that dam omega.
