Warm Lies & Cold Truths

Walking by Faith

A strong belief in God,
Complete trust in him,
A son who shed his blood,
His love will never dim,

Giving us guidance,
By the Holy Spirit,
Teaching all things abidance,
Living through it,

The enemy will try to desecrate,
We should always be confident,
In the Spirit we meditate,
The Lord's grace is sufficient,

Being in his embrace,
We feel the protection,
To him we are not a disgrace,
He will never leave us in isolation,

God will carry your sorrow,
He will help you in your life,
In every tomorrow,
And everyday strife,

He will help us stand,
His love will never fail,
We share his love to expand,
To meet with him is to prevail,

We don't spread the word for fame,
Our purpose is to save souls,
And preach in His great name,
God takes all controls,

Standing in holy ground,
His work will transpire,
He is with us all around,
He is someone to admire,

Walking by faith,
Not by sight,
By believing we are safe,
Christ will give us light.
