The lightwood parents were making plans for Alec he had to leave for a while on a mission. Jace wasn't aloud to go. Alec wasn't sure if he wanted to go but he knew that he had to do what is family told him to do. Jace didn't want him to go he was scared of what could've happened if they were separated. Nothing good comes from separation. It was the night that Alec had to leave, Jace took Alec upstairs and slowly pushed him on the bed and kissed him. Jace said" I'm gonna give you something that you'll always remember me by." Two hours had passed Alec got up and put his clothes back on and kissed Jace one last time. Alec walk downstairs and looked at his parents and left. It was going to be a very long journey but it was something he had and he was willing if it meant that he could come back to Jace to where they could be happy.
