The Slytherin Prince meets the Slytherin Princess

Chapter 8

Few months went by and I grew closer and closer with Harry and the twins, and before we knew it the first task was about to begin today.

"Oi oi! Wake up! It's time for the first match! The match will be in a few hours so get up get up!" Hailey said bouncing on my bed making my head ache

"Oi stop it! It's annoying!" I said kicking her of the bed making her groan in pain

"Sorry it's just annoying yeah?" I helped her up but before I knew it she pushed me down and laughed running away from me.

"YOU BITCH!" I yelled but I stopped in my tracks thinking on a great idea. I smirked at myself and went in the bathroom to shower before her.

After showering. I tricked her shampoo to turn her hair into a neon green color. After setting my prank. I stepped out of the bathroom to see her patiently waiting for me to finish

"My turn to shower!" She said shutting the door behind me.

Well then.

I was brushing my hair before hearing a blood curling scream. I jumped into action before I heard my name being yelled

"MAVIS EVANS! HOW COULD YOU TURN MY HAIR LIKE THIS I SWEAR ON MERLINS BEARD I'LL KILL YOU" I threw my brush away and scurried down the hall running away from the psychopath of a friend

"Woaaahh slow down missy, what's got ya in a hurry?" Fred said grabbing my arm

"I turned Hailey's hair into Neon green and she's about to kill me!" I explained

"Bloody brilliant! Add that prank to our list Georgie" Fred said

"Sure thing Freddiebear"

"So let's head to the arena shall we?" I asked

Fred and George went scampering around shouting for bets. I looked around and I noticed I was shaking. Thinking of my cousin, I ran to the champions tent.

"Harry? Are you in there?" I whispered.

"Mavis? Is that you?" I ran and hugged Harry but then a flash startled us

Ugh. Rita skeeter

"This could be in the headline! This just in two young lovers" her quill started to write down until I destroyed it earning her gasp

"We are cousins you bloody moron!" I said Harry pulled me by my hand telling me to stop. Rita snorted and walked away from us. I turned around to see Harry smiling at me

"That's bloody brilliant!" He laughed. I ruffled his hair and kissed his forehead

"Now don't get yourself killed young man, go and take that damn dragon down. You have your wand right? Just remember everything I taught you." I said hugging him one last time

"Yes mum" He joked huggung me back I pulled away and saw Dumbledore entering the tent. I smiled at him and excused myself and went back to the arena

After an hour or so, the three had already faced their dragons leaving Harry behind.

"Why so tense Evans?" I heard a voice said I looked up to see Draco smirking at me

"If your cousin was there, you wouldn't be worried?!" I asked him glaring at him

"I wont give a damn about him, he could manage" He chuckled. I shook my head and watched Harry go out

We cheered for his name except for Draco ofcourse who was teasing him as if Harry could hear making me slap the back of his head for his foolishness

"Harry! Your wand!" I exclaimed Harry looked at me and nodded summoning his firebolt

Soon Harry took off and tried to grab the egg. But he couldn't manage. I groaned in dismay.

We all gasped when the dragon broke free from his chain and followed Harry back to the castle

"5 galleons he's returning dead"

"10 galleons the dragon have burnt his ass off and eat him"

"15 galleons before he returns the both of you are dead" I hissed at the hufflepuffs who placed bets on Harry. They gulped and stood up from their seats and left, obviously scared of my threat.

"You defended a Gryffindor" Draco gasped

"You dumb blonde! He's my cousin!" I snapped at him

"Wow, you two fight like an old couple" I jumped and saw the twins laughing at us

"Shut up Fred" Fred pointed to George and George pointed to his twin

"He said that!"

"No he said that"

And in that moment Harry returned as all of us cheered as he grabbed the egg

I ran towards him and hugged him tightly

"I knew it! I knew you can do it!"

"Ofcourse I can! Without you and mad eye I'd be dead!"

"Awh! I'm flattered! Now let's go celebrating shall we?" We both grinned before heading to the castle to celebrate Harry's victory.

We were all gathered in the Gryffindor common room and I saw everyone congratulating Harry. Soon the twins carried him in their shoulders and showed him off

"Oi Harry! Show us the next clue!" Seamus said throwing him the egg

"want me to open it?" All of us cheered but as soon as Harry opened it. Loud annoying noises filled the room the twins dropped Harry as all of us covered our ears

Harry closed the egg and we all looked at each other confused

"Bloody hell was that?!" Ron snapped all of us simultaneously turned our heads in his direction

"Awkward.." George whispered beside me

"Very awkward" I corrected.

We continued partying and left Harry and Ron speak to each other for a couple of minutes. The party was quite awesome and hours had past and I told them I was ready to go. Fred pleaded not to leave yet and hang into my foot. I laughed at him for he was drunk and George was laughing at his brother too

"All right Fred I'll stay now" I said helping him to stand

"Yay! We'll gonna party like it's the end of the world!" He said and went off to party again.

The next morning..

"Oh God" I moaned as my head throbbed. I clutched it and looked around knowing this isn't my room or slytherin common room

"Hey! There's Slytherin here!" A second year said pointing to me with her gang

"So? Your point miss?" I asked her

"You aren't allowed here!" She spat

"Yeah she is she's our friend" Hermione popped up next to me handing me a banana "Eat, this will help you with your hang over"

"Thanks Mione" I smiled eating the banana

"No probs, go head back to your common room to change " she instructed I nodded and took off exiting the Gryffindor porthole and headed back to my own common room.
