The Slytherin Prince meets the Slytherin Princess

Chapter 75

"Hey Audrey you're spacing out again" Sevy said waving at my face. We were at the great hall sitting at the Hufflepuffs table eating our lunch

"Yeah what's gotten into you?" Jazz said knitting her brows

"I was wondering, when I was at the fifth floor corridor, there were two first year slytherin girls that were guarding some halls. It has occurred twice already when I was checking that corridor" I said the three looked at each other

"What would two first years guard at the fifth floor?" Gilliane asked curiously

"That's the question! I just ought to let you know for further investigations about this" I told them, then I saw Draco looking stressed, his eyes were getting darker and he was getting thinner and paler. I frowned at his figure as he sat at the Slytherin table, staring at his plate, moments later his gaze locked up with mine as we stare into each other for awhile.

"Are you listening?" Sevy said making me break my gaze witg Draco's

"Uh sorry got distracted" I said pursing my lips

"As I was saying, we're still investigating about Katie Bell's incident on how a cursed necklace was placed in the bathroom"

"Well, obviously someone was hiding there, while he/she used the imperius curse on Katie, a death eater who wants to kill Dumbledore" I answered

"The question is, who did it?" Jazz said, the four of us stared at each other as silence engulfed us.

"Harry suspects Draco, but I highly doubt that." I said shaking my head "He was in the black lake with me"

"A time turner perhaps?" Gilliane said

"All the time turner were destroyed in the ministry during the fight" I said

"Malfoy's might have one.-"

"Are we seriously blaming Draco for this because his Father is a death eater?" I said narrowing my eyes at them

"I didn't say we're blaming him." Sevy defended

"Fine then, whatever you say. I'll be heading to the library" I said storming off before anyone could say a word.

Draco

I didn't know what came into me but I followed Audrey when she stormed off looking rather angry.

"Hey Weasley!" I called out. She turned around, her eyes glaring at me

"What do you want?" She snapped

"I-uhm, I was just wondering why did you stormed off like that?" I asked her rubbing the back off my neck

"None of your business, run along now, I have to research about something" She said before I could utter a word, she already vanished in the corridors

"Well, that was quick" I muttered to myself jogging off to catch on with her. But then I stopped on my tracks

Why am I even following her? I thought knitting my eyebrows. I groaned frustrated at my thoughts

I sat at the back of the library with books scattered on the desk. I was reading about dark magic and dark objects. Until someone sat beside me joining me

"Oh hey there Hermione, what's wrong?" I asked her

"Nothing, I'm still searching who the Half blood prince is" She said sighing frustratedly

"You never give up don't you?" I said chuckling "You can just ask the professors if they know a certain Half blood prince"

"I tried, but no one can give me the information" She said frowning "And I have bunch of homeworks to do, if you don't mind" she said smiling
