Chapter 22

(3rd person's POV)

Mavis was reading her hogwarts a history book in her bed when a tap came by the window. She looked at it curiously and saw her owl toffy

"Hello there toffy what have you bought to me today?" She asked opening her window to Toffy, Toffy hooted and nipped her master affectionately. Mavis noticed a rose and a letter on tied on Toffy's claw. She untied the rose and letter up. She opened the letter

Dear Mavis,
 
You never failed to make me smile, You make me a better person. God knows how much I'm lucky to have you. Sleep tight my precious angel

Mavis was smiling while reading the note Draco gave. She picked up the rose and smelled it.

"So you and Draco huh?" Hailey asked, Mavis looked at her and furrowed her brows

"You haven't talked to me in a while" Mavis whispered folding her envelope and shoving it under her pillow.

"Sorry about that, I was.. busy" Said Hailey, Mavis nodded her head even though she knows that's not the reason behind it. She just agreed not wanting to fight her friend.

Mavis bid goodnight to Hailey and went to sleep.

Mavis

I headed to the great hall for breakfast. I skipped happily and looked at the slytherin table, Draco was sat beside Crabbe and Goyle in the end of the table. Draco looked up to me and winked, then he spoke to Crabbe. Crabbe stood up and left along with Goyle. Draco motioned me to sit with him so I went to the slytherin table and sat beside him

"You don't have to do that Draco" I said he rolled his eyes and kissed my cheek

"I had too. Because you're obviously going to sit with them again" he eyed the twins who were busy talking to each other. Obviously making plans

"Oh sush they're like my brothers. I obviously have ginger hair like them" I said pointing to my hair

"Yeah but that's not your natural hair color."

"But it still suites me"

"Yeah right go and eat now we'll have to get you to your classes we dont wanna be late yeah?" he said

"Heyyy mavis" I looked up to see Fred and George smiling at us

"Got yourself new company huh?" Fred asked

"It pains us you know!" George said dramatically then he put his hand in his chest where his heart is

"Oh you two. I wont replace you. What brings you here by the way?" I asked they both looked at Draco and smirked. Draco looked at them terrified

"We're just going to talk to him.." George said

"Man to man talk" Fred said they both squished between Draco and me

"You should've asked me to move politely yeah?" I said they shrugged and talked to Draco

"So Malfoy, we heard that you like our baby sister" Fred said
