Tyler's POV
************
By the time I had figured out what had just happened, Ebony was already out of sight. What did she think she was doing? I sure as hell wasn't going to room with Bently.
I ran inside after her. The elevator doors were closing, and it would take to long if I waited, so I ran for the stairs. Adam and Bently were behind me, but they wouldn't catch me. I was in a full on sprint right now.
She was already in the room when I came up. I should probably calm down a little but I think it's physically impossible at the moment. I walked in slamming the door behind me.
"We're in a hotel." She said without turning around. "You're disturbing people by making so much noise."
"You're not rooming with Adam." I told her.
She laughed humorlessly. "Oh yes I am."
"No you're not!"
"Why not Tyler?! Because you don't want to room with Bently? I don't care about the problems that goes on between you two. You guys can work those out on your own time. What you can't do is act like it's a crime for me to talk to other guys!"
"Sorry for being concerned Ebony! Next time some guy hits on you, I'll let him. And when he tries to get in your pants, I'll let him! And when you come home needing someone to feel sorry for you because you hate when guys take advantage of you, I won't be there! You know why? Because you don't need anyone to care about you!" I yelled.
"Well Tyler, once again you're wrong! I don't need YOU caring for me!"
"Well that's great, because I don't!" I'm such a liar.
"Good! Now move." She said.
I stood in the same spot, staring at her. She's not leaving.
"Tyler," she said. "Move!"
"No."
"Yes."
The door opened and closed behind me. I didn't need to look to know it was Bently. I don't want to look at him right now.
"Oh look, Bently's here. Argue with him." She said, trying to push her way around me.
"Maybe later." I said, pulling her back around.
She pushed my hand away. "Don't touch me."
"Why? Do you want it to be Bently? Or what about Eli? Should I go get him for you?" I asked.
"Tyler." Bently said in a warning tone. I'm surprised he hasn't made himself part of this argument.
She glared at me. "What is your problem?!"
"My problem is you!"
"What did I do? Did I happen to make you remember what an asshole you are? Is that why you're mad?!"
I smirked. "I would rather be an asshole than I first class bitch!"
She pushed me. "You're such a idiot Tyler! You don't care about anything but yourself! I swear you're not going to do anything with your life ever because all you know how to do is sit on your ass and perv on girls! It's all you ever do. I'm surprised you even have a girl you're 'in love' with! You said she doesn't love you back, well maybe it's because no one could ever, EVER love someone like you!"
And just like that, this argument was over for me. How can you fight with that. She seem to realize what she said after that fact too.
"Oh God." She wispered. "Tyler, I didn't mean that."
"Leave." I said.
"Tyler-"
"Just get out!"
She flinched at the anger in my voice. For a split second, I almost forgot I was angry. As soon as I heard the door close, I turned and punched the closest thing to me. Unfortunately, it was a wall and not Bently.
"You gonna be ok?" Bently asked.
I rolled my eyes. "Don't start acting like a concerned brother now. You've had that chance for 17 years."
"Look, I'll admit I haven't been the best brother in the world, but you seem to have it in your head that I don't care." He said .
"Because you don't."
"That's not true. I've done a lot of things to mess with you, but what just happened wasn't part of it. Right now, I'm on your side."
"I don't need you on my side. Ever." I said. Except it was a lie. I needed someone, rather it was Bently or a complete stranger, because my heart feels like it's been ripped out and stomped on.
"That's not true Tyler."
And I broke. I hugged my brother, which is something I haven't done since I was two, and cried on his shoulder like a little girl. Did I care? Not at all.
"This is your fault." I told him.
"Yeah I know."
He was accepting it. He knew he was the reason my life was so screwed up. He knew he was the one who has taken my whole reason for living away from me. I felt like punching him again.
"Why did you do it?"
He was quiet for a long time. "I don't know." He finally said.
I nodded and walked over to the door. "Think about that for a while. I'm going running."
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
A/N: So? What did you think? Don't hate me for the big argument. I promise everything will work out for the best...which may or may not be what you guys want LOL. Actually, if all goes as planned, you will kill me at the end. Well, tell me what you think of this. Sorry for the length. I know it's really really short. I'll try to post a looooong chapter next, but it might take longer to get uploaded. Vote and comment! :)
