"Emily, dear, get up!" I hear my mom's voice call from downstairs.

"I'm up!" I yell back as I lift my head from the pillow and then fall again, turning myself to sleep.

Seriously It's easier to stay awake till 6 AM, than to wake-up at 6 AM.

"Monday. Here we go again." I say as I pull myself out of bed.

I take a deep breath as I walk through the doors and try to focus in what I'm going to say when people ask my name.. I'm really shy and every time that somebody asks me something about myself, I'm just like 'Oh God! Who am I?' So I really need to over think about how I'm going to act and just try to stay away of everybody's way.. That's the plan for the next four years.

I'm looking to all these people and trying not to feel too lonely because I don't really know anyone. Some people stare at me and I'm blushing and looking at the ground trying to bury myself with my books. I just love reading so much.. It's like dreaming with open eyes where I can't find the reality. My reality.

I lift my head trying to act normally, when I see a really tall guy with curly hair talking to his friends.. I mean acting like a normal person.

Anyway, I just keep staring and I don't really know why, he's just different and his smile is beautiful. Look how his eyes-

"Oh, I'm sorry! Are you okay?!" I say when I try to reach the girl in front of me who almost died with my books all over her. I'm so clumsy. Terrible way to go, Emily.

"Yes! Sorry, I didn't see you! I'm Sophia by the way!"

"Hi, I'm Emily," I give her a shy smile.

"I'm going to have History now. Do you like History?" Sophia asks after looking at my books.

"Yes! I actually quite like it.. It's probably my favourite subject," Okay.. now she probably thinks I'm boring.. And that is why, boring me, don't make friends.

We walk through the door when the professor arrives and Sophia seats next to me.

"Good morning everyone! I'm your History professor! My name is Junno. I know..I know what you're thinking: 'What a perfect way to start the day..' Well as far as I can say I'm not that boring. Besides I like my students so I won't talk too much. You will."

Holy crap.

"Let's start with a little talk so I can learn a few things about you."

DRAG ME TO HELL!

I'm trying to hide my face as I'm looking at my books in front of me saying to myself 'Please, not me. Please not me. Please not me..

"You with the book face.."

Thank you very much, God. And long live to sarcasm.

"So why don't you tell us a little about you,"

"Ahm, I'm Emily.. I'm fifteen years old.." I'm shaking and my face is burning red. The little voice in my head keeps saying "Another student, another student.."

"Where do you live, Emily?"

Seriously, open the window I'm gonna jump.

"I live here in London, Primrose Hill to be exact." I say trying to end this "little talk" that seems to has no end.

"Okay Emily, thank you."

I look to my books again trying to avoid all the people that are staring at me.. Why people stare at me? It's so annoying and rude.

"Now you," He points to Sophia and I'm glad that I didn't stutter much.

I really need to control my shyness and try to learn how to talk to people.

"I'm Sophia! I'm fourteen years old and I also live here in London,"

Wow. She's talking to the professor so calmly and gently and she isn't blushing at all.

After hearing another row of presentations the class is over and Sophia is nowhere to be found. I grab my books and walk to the library.

As I enter I love it there. Books are my wonderland!

I sit alone on a table in the back and start studying. The curled edges I draw at the end of each letter on my notebook reminds me of that curly hair of his.

Ugh! Why am I thinking about him anyway?! He's just a guy who doesn't even know that I exist.

Focus Emily. Focus.

(Hi guys! This is my first book so I'm really excited :) Thank you so much for reading!! Xxxx )
