Albert's POV.

Emily hasn't texted me back like she said she would, probably she's just got home by now.

I seat on the couch with a popcorn bucket and change the channel to 'A 1000 Ways To Die'.

My thoughts are interrupted as Sophia abruptly stoles the remote from my hands.

"I was watching that!" I snap.

"Yes and now you're watching this." She says without looking at me and changes the channel to some sort of film. Doesn't she have homework to do or something?

"Seriously? Warm bodies? Really?" I roll my eyes in annoyance.

"Yeah, do you have any problem?"

"Fuck yes, I do."

"Go play 'War Z' then, or those shitty computer games you're playing all the time instead of having a life."

"It's better than some boring film with an undead guy and a living girl who fall in love for each other." I roll my eyes.

"At least they accepted they could stay away from each other even loving one another!" Sophia challenges me and I feel anger growing inside of me.

"He was a fucking zombie which body became warmer everytime she kissed him! The goal here was turning him into a human, that's why she was kissing him all the time!"

"She wasn't kissing him all the time! He was dependent of her because he was the one who wasn't normal and needed to be!"

"He wasn't dependent and even if he was it doesn't mean he didn't love her!" I stand up and look at Sophia. "You said that loving a person and not being able to live without her are two very different things but you're fucking wrong and you know why? Because it's actually the same thing. I love Emily and that is the reason I can't live without her as well as I can't live without her because I love her. They go hand in hand. If I could live without her I wouldn't be as in love with her as I am, so it's the same deep corny shit." I shout at Sophia who holds now a speechless expression on her face.

**

Emily's POV.

"Emily, we have something really important to tell you." My mum says and looks seriously at my dad. I have a bad feeling about this conversation...

"Emily, as you know, my law firm is being very sucessfull at the time," My dad speaks and I nod for him to continue.

I've always dreamed about working at my dad's company in Oxford, he has been the Carter's law firm director, since its foundation in 1998, and it really makes me glad knowing that his business is growing bigger and successfully.

"So I talked with my company of lawyers and the firm is expanding gradually, not only in England but in the States as well."

"That's wonderful, dad!" I say with enthusiasm.

"Thank you, Emmy, but I have something else to tell you," My dad says with a serious look.

A twist of anxiety is growing at the top of my stomach and my heart shrivels on my chest.

"I have spent a lot of money building the company in New York, I had to pay for the whole building and for all the co-workers there and I thought the only way to make it worthily it is for me being there."

"What? How do you want to be there if you're here?" Oh no.

"I have only a bag packed to travell to Manhattan tomorrow. I'll go there to check everything up and settle the office."
