Author's POV

[Skip, 2 days later.]

Jong Kook, Gary, Haha, Seok Jin and Ji Hyo came to hospital to visit Jae Suk. They knocked the door before going into the ward.

"Come in." Jae Suk heard some knocking sound and responded. Jong Kook opened the door and saw Jae Suk sitting on the bed.

"Oh, hyung. You're awake! Kwaenchana?" He walked towards the bed and asked.

"Yea, I'm feeling fine today. You guys are here too?" Jae Suk said.

"Ne."

"Hyung, where's Kwang Soo?" Gary asked.

"I asked him to go back and rest for a while, he has been staying here for a few days."

"Oh..." They nodded.

"Did the doctor say when you will you be discharged?" Seok Jin asked.

"We'll, he told me that I can go home on Friday. Hah~I can't wait to go home~" Jae Suk sighed.

"Hyung, stop it." Haha blurted out. They looked at him and Haha said, "Don't lie to us anymore."

"What...are you talking about?" Jae Suk said.

"Jong Kook oppa told us about it, you were diagnose with leukaemia, right?" Ji Hyo said.

"What...? How did you...?" Jae Suk said as he looked at Jong Kook.

"Hyung, mianhae...I can't afford to see you suffering on your own..." Jong Kook said.

"It's ok, I knew that this secret can't be kept for too long." Jae Suk said.

"Jae Suk ah, why are you being so stubborn? We are a family, you know? You should tell us about it!" Seok Jin said.

"Yea, we were so shocked when you suddenly collapsed during filming. I almost cried when I see you like that." Haha said.

"I'm sorry guys, I was afraid that you can't concentrate on your work and...I don't want you guys to be worried about me..."

"But what about Kwang Soo? He's your dongsaeng, you know?" Ji Hyo said.

"I know he's my little brother, but you know Kwang Soo...I'm just worried that he'll do something stupid if I tell him the truth..." Jae Suk said.

"But hyung...what if one day...Kwang Soo found out about it..." Gary said.

"Don't worry, I'll find a suitable time to tell him about it, ok?" Jae Suk said.

"Ne~"

"You guys didn't tell him about it yet, right?" Jae Suk asked.

"No, we didn't." Jong Kook said.

"Ok."

Out of the blue, some noise came from the door and they looked at the door. A tall figure was standing outside and he was shivering. His eyes was also filled with tears and some of it were flowing down his cheeks.

"Kwang...Kwang Soo yah..." Jong Kook said his name.

Kwang Soo saw Jong Kook who is slowly approaching him and he quickly ran away. The remaining members called his name while Jong Kook followed him behind. He stopped for a while when he saw a bunch of keys outside the door. He picked it up and continued to look for Kwang Soo.

"Kwang Soo yah! Jamkkaman!" Jong Kook said. But Kwang Soo didn't stop and he ran faster.

Kwang Soo's POV

[Flashback, 5 minutes ago.]

I was on my way to the car park, Jae Suk hyung asked me to go home and take a nap first. As I went on to the car, I realised that I left my handphone at the ward.

"Ah...jinjja..." I got off the car and went back to the ward. When I reached the ward, I heard multiple of voices coming from the ward, I think the other members are here. Just when I wanted to go in, Haha hyung's statement caught my attention...

"Don't lie to us anymore."

I stopped opening the door and decided to stay outside, a lot of question marks appeared on my head, what did Dong Hoon hyung meant by that? What secret did Jae Suk keep from us this time?

"Jong Kook oppa told us about it, you were diagnose with leukaemia, right?"

I was frozen on the spot when I heard what Ji Hyo noona said. W...what? Jae Suk hyung is diagnosed with leukaemia? And...they knew about it? So...I was the last person to find out about it...again? I was so shocked as I don't hear anything about what they said later on.

I released my grip and my car keys fell on the floor. The members heard the noise from the inside and the door was opened. I looked at them with my eyes full of tears. I didn't know what to say.

[Flashback end.]

"Kwang...Kwang Soo yah..." Jong Kook hyung called me as he approached me slowly. I saw him coming and I decided to run away. The others called my name but I ignored it. I just ran as fast as I could.

I ran to the hospital's garden downstairs. I saw down on the bench at the corner of the garden where no one was there. I cried as loud as I could to release my sadness, anger, disappointment....everything...I can't believe he treated me the same way after what happened last year(in case you don't know, please refer to Book 1). Why is he treating me like a fool? Why...? I thought...I was his closest dongsaeng in the world...

Out of the blue, the rain started pouring heavily but I just sat there. I just want to calm myself down in the rain. Just then, I heard a familiar voice calling out for me.

"Kwang Soo yah! Where are you?!" It's Jong Kook hyung.I lifted my head up and saw him walking around with an umbrella in his hand. I looked away and decided to ignore him. But then, the sound of the thunder was really loud and I was really scared. I covered my ears and squatted down, I also accidentally shouted out loud and he found me.

"Kwang Soo yah!" Jong Kook hyung called me as he ran to me. I looked at him and waited him to come.

"Yah! Why are you still here?! It's raining so heavily! Let's go inside!" Jong Kook hyung said as he pulled me up and dragged me away. I didn't wanted to follow him but he was too strong, I can't pull my hand out from his grip.

He dragged me to the toilet and asked me to dry up myself. He actually went to my car and grabbed a towel and some dry clothes from my bag(Kwang Soo stayed in the hospital for 2 days and he brought some extra clothes to change). Wait, how did he even get my car keys? I looked at him with a suspicious face, he just smiled and said, "Yah, don't tell me you forgot that you dropped it when you ran away just now."

I thought for a while and remembered that I dropped my keys because I was too shocked just now. I smirked and said, "Oh ya."

"Here, keep it properly." Jong Kook hyung took the keys out from his pocket and returned it to me.

"Komawo hyung...ah...ah...choo!" I sneezed due to the coldness.

"Yah! Change your clothes now, palli! You'll catch a cold!" Jong Kook hyung said.

"Ne hyung!"

I quickly change my clothes and followed Jong Kook hyung to the cafe.
