" Mommy .... I don't wanna go with granny for the weekend I wanna stay with you" sky cried
" Your a big girl so wipe your face I know you don't want to be with granny but she misses you and mommy has some stuff to do" I said
" Mommy Please " she cried
" stop whining your a big girl go grab your shoes and let's go and I don't wanna have to tell you again you know what's coming up and see if you do anything " I said sounding very stern
While she living with Jay and them she didn't get much discipline over there and for the first couple months I've been a little softer but she's going to know when I'm playing and when I'm not because I don't want her to grown up being disrespectful because she's always spoiled
She came back down with her shoes and her bag she looked at me sad but she knew if she said anything that she would get a mouthful from me.
I grabbed her hand and we walked to the car as I placed her into her car seat
We drove over to my mothers house and on our way there I got an incoming call from Jay and my phone was hooked onto the Bluetooth in the car.
" hello " I said
" hey I was calling to tell you it's finalized " he said
" how do you feel Jay " I asked
" I'm excited as long as the plan goes as planned" he said
" we're both gonna give it a try we can't force ourselves " I said
" I agree " he said
" well I'm taking sky to my moms for the weekend then I'm going into the office for a bit to finish some stuff " I said
" cool I'll probably swing by bring you some lunch or something " he said
" that sounds cool with me" I said
" alright talk to you later" he said
I hung up the phone and we pulled up the my moms I turned around to see sky crying
" why are you crying " I asked
" I don't wanna leave you mommy " she said
" it's just for 2 days mommy will even come visit if that makes you happy I just need some time to get some things together " I said
" okay mommy Love you " she said
My mom opened the door and she ran to her I'm guessing she just had to get used to being around my mom more
I drove off to the office to get a lot of work done
3 hours later
" Beyoncé you have s guess shall I let him in" my assistant asked
" yes please make sure I have no visitors for about an hour or so and please don't disturb " I said
" no problem " she said
I saw Jay appear through the door with a bag of Popeyes.
" still the same in here" he said laughing
" yeah " I said standing up to acknowledge him
He grabbed my waist looking at me in the eyes looking for assurance of he could kiss me or not I smiled letting him know that it was okay
He pecked my lips making me blush
" why you always blushing " he asked
" because I love affection and you know that " I said
" explain to me why you do again " he said pulling me down to sit on his lap
" I feel like when you say you love someone you can say it but they don't know if it's true or not but when you show affection they can actually tell because your showing them and making them feel your affection " I said
" alright I'll show you more affection then " he said
" you show a lot of affection Jay I'm just not used to having this much affection I mean We've been separated for years" I said
" I've just missed you that's all " he said looking down
" I missed you too pop pop " I said smiling
" so how's everything with Tarji " I asked
" she's taking it easier than I though she even left with not problem she just wants to see sky still and be friends " he said sitting down
" I mean that's fine she can see sky and understand if you guys have a cordial friendship " I said
" so how did it go with Aubrey " he asked
" didn't tell him yet I haven't had the time but I sent him a email letting him know I wanted to talk to him " I said
" where's sky " he asked
" with my mother for a couple of days she hardly wanted to leave she was about to cry " I said
" the bond the two of you have made has just been beautiful to watch my favorite girls in the world " he said
" oh so I'm your favorite girl huh " I said walking back to sit in my desk to look over more files

" to have some drinks with my guys since they have been blowing me up " he said

He collected his things standing up

I walked into Aubrey's home feeling a huge lump in my throat.
" so what's so important " she smiled sitting down
" Look I'm just gonna get right to it , I recently got reconnected to my ex husband and I realized he needs me and I need him and we want what's best for our daughter I know I shouldn't have lead you on but I just need you to be Civil with this " I said
