"Introducing the next step VR technology, the Vividly Real headset from the new company Fun and Games Co! The graphics are flawless and the sound is so impeccable that you'll never want to leave. Click here to order one for free." I read aloud, my interest peaked slightly. The picture showed a wireless black box that looked almost exactly identical to a Vive headset. Nothing was ever free, much less VR technology that was supposed to be "the next step". Finally giving in to my growing curiosity, I hesitantly clicked on the glowing light blue link. I was instantly taken to a tan web page that read "thank you for purchasing a Vividly Real headset! It will arrive shortly" in thick black letters. With a shrug, I closed the website and my email where I found the ad, then scrolled through my game library until I received a Skype message from Mark. He was asking if I got an ad for a Vividly Real headset too. "Yeah, did you get one?" I replied. After a moment, he sent back a thumbs up emoji. "Me too." I typed, then sent. I was about to type something else whenever I got a knock on my door. Odd, must be an obsessed fan or something, I thought as I walked out of my room and to the door in my white Septiceye Sam t-shirt, jeans and no socks or shoes. I opened the door just a crack and found an ornate white box with the Fun and Games Co logo printed on all sides sitting on my porch. I scanned the area to see who had brought it so quickly, but no one was outside. With a shrug, I bent down, carefully picked up the box, then brought it into my room. I set it down with a heavy thud onto my desk in front of my keyboard. "Alright, lets see what's inside." I ripped the packaging tape off with ease and sifted through the crunchy white packing peanuts until I felt something smooth and hard. I lifted out the headset, then continued searching through the box in case there was anything else. No remotes, no wires, not even an instruction manual. To see how the headset felt around my head, I slid the bulky thing over my eyes and sat onto my bed. That was whenever I saw something I could barely believe.

"Next step in VR tech for free? Hell yeah!" I clicked on the blue link that appeared in my email. "Sweet!" I clapped my hands together in satisfaction as a web page popped up, informing me that my purchase was a success. Does Jack get the same deal in Ireland?, I wondered as I logged in to Skype and asked if he had heard about the new headset that had come out. He told me that he ordered one, then asked if I did too. I was about to type up a response whenever my doorbell rang. To not leave Jack hanging, I sent a thumbs up emoji, then shut down my computer and went over to the door in my black shorts, barefeet and a bright pink t-shirt that read "American Eagle, 1977" with an image of an eagle encompassed by a circle. I swung the door open and instead of finding Matthias, Matt, or Ryan like I had thought, I had found a bright white box with the Fun and Games Co logo printed on all sides of the box. I poked my head through the doorway to see if the person who had delivered it was still nearby. The streets were completely abandoned. With a sigh, I bent down, picked up the box, then dropped it down onto my desk, causing it to shake slightly. Without even trying to be careful, I ripped into the package and dumped the contents out on top of the desk. There was a ton of crinkly white packing peanuts, then I found what I had ordered. It looked very much like the Vive headset I owned except for these were no wires and only a single padded strap on the back. I pushed the peanuts of of the desk and back into the box as I looked for an instruction msnuka, but I found nothing. "Okay then." With a shrug, I flopped down onto my bed and slid the headset over my eyes. At first, there was only darkness. Then an entire world unfolded in front of me with a burst of vibrant colors that nearly blinded me.

"Um Dan, did you order this?" I opened our front door after hearing it being knocked on to find a white box with a video game company logo printed on all sides of the box. "No." Dan slowly got up from the couch and eyed the box suspiciously. "What the hell is it?" Dan grabbed the box from my hands, set it down on the kitchen table, then took a kitchen knife and cut open the box. Inside I only saw a sea of packing peanuts. I helped Dan sift through the peanuts until each of us had found two black box looking things that had one padded strap on the back and nothing else, not even an instruction manual. "I think it's some kind of virtual reality thing." I guessed as I examined the bulky object. There wasn't even a switch on it or anything. "I guess we just put it on over our eyes?" I stated uncertainly. "Yeah probably. Wanna try it out?" A gestured over at the couch he was previously lying on while having an existential crisis. "Sure!" I walked over with him to the couch and sat down beside him. "Okay, three, two, one-" Both of us slid the weird devices over our eyes and wait to see what would happen.

"Babe, a fan came by and dropped this off!" Amanda showed me this thing that looked like a Vive, but had no wires, remotes, and only a single padded strap on the back. "The girl said it was called a Vividly Real headset or something like that." She remarked as I rested the mask like device on my forehead. "Cool?! I'm gonna go try it out." I went into my room where I recorded all of my virtual reality games and decided to test it out before i made a video just to make sure that it would record well.

"Mary did you buy this for me?" I shouted over my shoulder as I retrieved a white box off of the front step. Betty circled around it excitedly. "Not for you." I patted her head, then went into the bedroom where Mary was lying on the bed, looking bored. "What is that?" She room the box from me and gently shook it. I could hear the crinkle of packing peanuts inside. I waited as Maey went into the kitchen to grab a knife to open the box. I pushed the peanuts to one side of the box and found a rectangular black bulky box like thing that had a single strap attached to the back and that was all. "I think it's a VR thing." I shrugged as I adjusted the strap a little. "Cool! Have fun." Mary left the room, leaving me alone with the VR device. I've got a bad feeling about this, I thought as I slid the black box over my face.

"How's it going bros, my name is Pew-" I began my intro, but was cut off by Marzia bursting into the room with a weird black device. "What is that?" I eyed the thing warily, not trusting it at all. "It's a virtual reality thing. I thought you might like it." She handed me the object. "Bye!" She waved as she closed the door behind her. I picked a few packing peanuts out of the black box, then hesitantly put the VR tech over my head.

Yeah, each POV got shorter as the chapter progressed mainly 'cause I didn't want to bore you guys too much with just details. Anyway, I hope you guys like it so far, I kinda got the idea from Sword Art Online (just started watching it, the only anime I accept for some reason). Also, I promise some real action will go on next chapter (whenever that comes out) and it'll be cool! Btw, the picture above, in case you didn't know, is what an actual Vive looks like. Live long and prosper SuperWhoLockians and may the force be with you!
