Casey's Pov
I pulled up in front of the kid's school and went to go get the kids when Luke and Lexus saw me they ran over to me. I picked the both of them up and carried them to the car. Some part of me made me think why did I ever leave.
15 minutes later
When we arrived at Hermans he was already outside Luke and Lexus told me good bye then ran inside to have fun. I gave Herman their book bags and then he grabbed my shoulder.
Herman- Don't make them wait forever they deserve to know.
Casey- I'll try to talk to Gabby tomorrow.
Herman- oh and Casey I'll see you at shift soon.
I smiled and drove off.
3 hours later
7:36 Shay's POV
Severide and I had been laying in bed all day when I realized I had to pick up the kids. I threw my hair up and quickly found and outfit while Severide did the same thing. We walked out the house half decent.
23 minutes
Severide's Pov
When we arrived at Herman's the kids ran to us.
Lexus- Uncle Sevey and Auntie Shay.
Shay- What's up kiddo?
Lexus- Everything.
Shay- we'll talk about it in the car.
Luke- Hi guys
Severide-- Wats up buddy?
Luke- I just want to see my mom.
Severide- Then lets go.
Back to Severide's Pov
We told Christie and the other kids goodbye before dropping off Luke and Lexus.
17 minutes later
Gabby's Pov
I had just finished cooking dinner when I heard someone pull up in the drive thru. I walked out and saw Shay's car. When the doors opened I saw both of my kids. They gave me a hug and told Shay and Severide goodbye.
Gabby- Hey you guys go wash your hands and then you can eat but say your grace.
-I kissed both of kids on the head and then thanked Shay and Severide for picking them up and dropping them off.
