Anri skipped from shop to shop, peeking in through store windows.
Ayato trudged along behind her, lugging all her bags.
"Why do girls need so many clothes?"
Anri rolled her eyes. "That's like asking someone why they need to breathe."
Ayato shook his head. "Idiot."
Anri reached up and plucked at his forehead.
"Hey!"
"You deserved it."
Ayato grumbles and followed down the mall hallway, where they ended up in front of a coffeeshop.
Anri grabbed his hand and pulled him inside.
She smiled at the barista and ordered their drinks.
Ayato looked uninterested and went to go sit down.
Finally, Anri came over to where he slouched, shoving a drink into his hand.
"Here. It's good."
He took a sip and his eyes widened slightly.
"Mmmmm......"
"Told you," Anri smiled.
"You also told me you'd stop wearing my sweatshirts. Did that happen? No."
Anri rolled her eyes. "Shut up."
Ayato smirked and took another sip.
Under the table, Ayato gripped her hand, squeezing gently.
Anri smiled to herself and leaned forward to give him a kiss.
