Chara clicked FIGHT, but mettaton dodged. "Wha?" Chara questioned, "Oh darling please. You haven't seen my true form yet." Mettaton then hit a button behind him? (Idk what gender) and he started transforming.
Mettaton's arms changed to guns, his legs grew as well as his head, his chest was heavily armoured, then a pair of shoulder pads grew, and then a cape like thing grew behind him. A light shined behind Mettaton as he was finished transforming, "Good luck darling." Chara smirked, "Hm. Don't need it." Chara hit FIGHT and swung their leg, but missed Mettaton. Mettaton then took a blast and hit Chara directly. Their health went down by 10 and Chara was extremely confused. "Mettaton should be a one hit, not a Sans fight one hit." Frisk scoffed and gained control of Chara, "I'll dodge, just keep attacking." Frisk commanded and Chara nodded. They clicked FIGHT and swung, but missed again. Mettaton started swinging his legs as he tried to kick them, but Frisk was too fast and too good. "I don't think I can talk sense into Mettaton." Chara said and Frisk nodded, "Agreed."
Chara swung again, missing. "This is getting tedious." Chara hissed. Mettaton started blasting again and Frisk was quick to run around, duck, and jump as all the blasts passed them. "Look darling, this would all be easier if you just give in and let me destroy you." Mettaton said. Chara shook their head, "I wish it was that easy." Just as Chara was about to hit FIGHT again, Frisk stopped them, "Wait... Let's try something else." Chara gave a confused look as Frisk took over and their ghost type hand appeared. Chara was confused as Frisk guided their hands to the ACT button and pushed it. Then pushed Mettaton' name and clicked an ACT. "Hey Mettaton look! A mirror!" Chara found themself saying. Mettaton's eyes grew wide, "A mirror? Oh yes! I need to look fabulous as I am about to destroy you." Mettaton turned around, giving Chara the chance to attack. Chara hesitated as they gained control of their arm again. But clicked FIGHT anyway and swung at Mettaton.
A direct hit.
Mettaton froze, "I... I... Chara... I... Say hi to Frisk for me? Okay?" And then he exploded.
Chara said nothing as Frisk was about to cry. They continued walking, "So... Killing monster kid and doing a genocide run really messed up this timeline huh?" Chara questioned. Frisk nodded as they continued to walk with Chara. "Next is Sans..." Chara pulled up their LV and saw it was level 19. "And we have to LV to fight him..."
The two humans stopped walking as they reached the giant hallway so they can get to Asgore's home. A new home...
"Ready?" Chara asked. Frisk nodded.
They walked along the long hallway, it was completely silent and eerie. Nothing here...
Frisk and Chara finally reached the end and saw a grayscale house sitting there. Both of them hesitated, but decided to walk to it anyway. As they got inside Frisk spoke up, "In my timeline, this is where monsters would tell me the tale of Chara and Asriel!" They explained and laughed awkardly afterwards. Chara nodded, "This is where Flowey would explain his tale to me, his point of view of becoming a flower..." Frisk nodded and they walked towards the kitchen to collect the first green key. They were stopped by a golden flower, "Uhh... Hi..." He said awkwardly, "Asriel? What are you doing here?" Chara asked. Flowey looked around then in a low voice said, "Look... I came to give you information..." Chara and Frisk raised an eyebrow, "Okay?" Chara urged. Flowey peered behind them, "Can't talk here, meet me in our room Chara." Flowey said then went underground.
They collected the key and went across the house into the hallway with doors and went into the first one. There were two gifts on the floor, "Frisk, take the first one, I'll get second." Chara said and Frisk nodded. They opened the presents and Frisk put on the heart locket and Chara grabbed a hold of the knife. A moment later Flowey appeared looking scared. "Okay, listen. About Sans. He has souls." Chara and Frisk nods, "We know." "But- he plans on using it to destroy you and Frisk. I heard him talking about it in his lab. He's going to kill you guys. He already has all but one of them." Chara gave them a concerned/questioning look, "What? How? You had them!" Flowey seemed to grow more scared, "I... I was going to use them when you guys beat Sans, but he stole them and wants revenge. "You guys are going to keep dying over and over again! You'll never beat him!" Flowey yelled, "Then why don't we RESET?" Chara suggested.
"It's not that simple. If you RESET, you really could cause a collapse in the universe. You have to do a true RESET, and the only way is to either break the barrier-" "Or kill Sans." Chara finished and sighed, "Okay, well since the barrier is impossible to break since Asreil doesn't have the souls, and Sans wants revenge, we have no choice but to kill Sans..." Frisk nodded. "Well, let's get the last key and go get him."
Chara and Frisk slowly walked out of the room and walked to the end of the hall to collect the last key and then walked to the staircase to unlock the chain and walk down into the basement.
Something occured to Chara on their way down, "So wait, you said you got as far as Asgore, right?" Frisk nodded, "So why did we have to unlock the chain, if you already did it?" Frisk shrugged, "Maybe a glitch in the system?" They suggested. Chara shrugged, "I don't think so. A chain can't lock itself without help, even if there is a glitch." Frisks shrugged once more, "Neither can a door." Chara opened their mouth to speak, but they already reached Judgment hall. They stepped inside and looked down the hall and saw no one.
"Alright. Ready to do this?" Frisk asked a little too enthusiastic. Chara rasied an eyebrow as Frisk dragged them to the middle of the hallway and waited as Sans teleported into the room, "heya kid."
