About the story:
-I had the entire story planned from beginning to end before I even wrote the first word.
-It was originally a love story between Erin and Tristan.
-The entire thing was in Erin's perspective.
-Kenzie wasn't supposed to be a main character.
-I didn't plan for Kyle to even be a character, but as I was working on the plot, he just showed up.
-The perspective I love writing from most is Tristan's.
-I love writing conversations between Erin and Tristan.
-Originally being a midlen wasn't a bad thing, it just meant you were only in the middle of good and evil.
-Tristan was supposed to start out as a midlen.

How I came up with the story:

One day my Nana was driving me to my weekly therapy session that helped me with anxiety (my therapist was great, she made my life so much better). I looked up at the rearview mirror where a little sign hung, attached to the bar with ribbon. It read: Never drive faster than your guardian angel can fly.
There was a cute doodle of an angel next to it, smiling widely.
And that got me thinking, what if guardian angels (say they exist, I'd like to think they do) weren't just watching us from the sky, but were here right by our sides to help us through life?
The situation was perfect. After all, I was about to meet up with the person helping me.
So it all escalated from there. The characters came, then the plot, then the writing, and now we're here at the end of it all. I couldn't be more grateful for such a wonderful writing experience.
