Orchids (Ranmaru Kurosaki x Reader Fanfic)

Goose(cat) chase, late night mishaps

After saying your byes to Ranmaru, you finally made it to the third floor where you then unlocked and opened your door.
Immediately after stepping in, your feline decided to sprint out the door, causing you to yell at Rhythme, and call him, trying to get him to come back.

Catching the attention of Ranmaru a little ways down the road, he noticed you trying to chase after the cat.
'Might as well help her out..'

"Oi! (F/N), he's over here under the tarp."
Ranmaru shouted, catching the attention of his two assigned kouhais across the street, both wondering where their senpai had wandered off to during dinner time.

After managing to catch Rhythme, and Ranmaru suffering the claws of your feline... You saw the two males watching.

"Ran-chan, having fun, rustling around with your girlfriend? Hm?" Ren teased, gaining a steady glare his way from Ranmaru.

'The ginger from earlier!' (F/N) remembered, holding her cat.

"Like Hell Ren."

"Aahh...Jin..Jin...Yeah,
I can't remember your last name." You admitted it sheepishly, sending a cheeky smile his way.
"Sorry about that ginger.
I haven't met you before though." Then claiming, looking at the quiet blue haired guy beside Ren.

"Masato Hijirikawa." He says responding to you, bowing slightly.
"Also lady, it's Jinguji. And I don't mind being called by my given name~" Ren chuckles.
"Right, sorry." You repeat, nervously cheesing at him, earning a smile in return from the ginger.

Stepping forward, (F/N) introduced herself as well, still ashamed that she had forgotten Ren's following name.

"Ran-chan~ why won't you tell me?" Ren continues to bug his silver haired senpai, wondering about the scene with (F/N) earlier.

"Would you shut the Hell up..?!" Ranmaru shouts in return, trying to play his bass, and listening to Ren whine and whine isn't helping.

"But Ran-channnn-"

"Jinguji, I'm with Kurosaki-senpai this time, and I'd appreciate it if you would get back to writing lyrics and stop lazing around." Masato stated bluntly, also annoyed with the whining idol.
Ren sighs in defeat.

"I guess there's no getting information out of you Ran-chan.."
'For now anyway~'

'Mm... A knock? ...it's nothing..
...
Another one..hmm?...!?'

(F/N) shot up out of bed, realising that it was her front door being knocked on.
Not a dream.
Rushing to see who it was, (F/N) felt really light headed and nauseated.

Opening the door, she came to hear a deep voice.
"You're late."

"..Huh?" Finally able to see again, she recognised the tall blond. Camus.

"Are you deaf? I said that you're late. It's been over thirty minutes since your labeled work time." The count claims.

"..But I was scheduled for today off..."

"Saotome sent a re-schedule last night.
Get yourself presentable."
He then closes your door.

'..I never got anything...'
You thought, going to check your phone just in case.

"..."
'Saotome.... You can't send me a message at 1a.m., expect me to see it, and still come in at 7a.m....'
dumbfounded, you open your door back.
It would take you a few minutes to get ready and Camus was just standing out there..

"Camus..?"

"What do you want, peasant?"

'..peasant?'
"You can come in you know.. I'll take a few minutes, I wouldn't want you to stay out in the cold."

"I don't need your pity." He replies, stepping in anyway.

'...I guess he's just hardheaded.'

"I'll be back out, hold on."
You say, rushing to go get changed.

'Damn it. I should've changed quickly before opening the door..'
You thought cautiously, hoping that Camus wouldn't say anything about your unusual night clothing.

Going back to the small living room area, you see Camus inspecting the contents of the fridge.
"..Uh, pardon."

Camus turned around a little shocked because of how quickly you got ready.
"Ahem... Are you ready to go?"

".....Uh...Yeah, sure." You reply, skeptical over what he was doing.

Grabbing a granola bar, you head out with the count.

Whale, this is super late... I'm glad I got through my driving lessons and got my permit though cx (and honestly kinda scared qwq)
