Boruto Uzumaki
Arrogance
If there was something that you knew about Boruto, was that he tended to have a bit arrogance in his blood. Not because he has Uzumaki blood in him, but because he is the son of the 7th Hokage, who's the son of the fourth Hokage; You were just the daughter of a simple family clan that is not really popular in your community. This boy is F-I-L-T-H-Y RICH, it seemed that he could afford anything he wanted from infinite amount of video games and snacks, to the finest clothing and lifestyle for the rest of his happy life; You barely had fifty cents. He had the stunning looks of the Namikaze clan with his flowing blonde hair and his gorgeous blue eyes that showed a hint of curiosity, accompanied with two whiskers which marked that he is the son of the ninetails; You just simply had your (h/c) which was usually tied back into a ponytail and washed every other day with your (e/c) eyes which were usually darting around with determination, your cheeks only reddish from running around in your missions which made it look like you were blushing most of the time. There were many times that when Boruto would come back from his missions, he tended to boast about how he was able to take down his enemy without even trying; you'd just shrug off the fact that you tended to make a few wrong moves every now and then when people tended to question your finished missions. But yet, there were times that you were able to see something that not even a Sharingan or a Byakugan couldn't even reveal: He was secretly lonely. Not friend lonely, but family lonely with his father. You noticed this when you saw him one day after spying on him and his father, Boruto getting angry before running away and crying silent tears in frustration. You silently followed him to the alleyway where you first got into a fight, your heart breaking as he sniffled and broke down. Yes, you knew the feeling of not having a special family bond with you especially when you never really got to bond with your parents in a good way. You silently walked towards him, observing his shaking form as he clutched his heart as if his heart was about to fall out. You silently kneeled besides him and only did what your instinct told you to do: You hugged him. Boruto stopped shaking a bit and hesitated for a bit before turning to face you, "It's alright Boruto..." you whispered to him, "you're not alone..." wrapping his arms around your form and burying his head in the crook of your neck, he sobbed his heart out as you saw that in reality: He was just a foxy sweetheart looking for somebody to understand him...

Shikadai Nara
Laziness
Out of all things, that is what really stands out from his other qualities. He barely has any motivation to anything, just like his father and even his grandfather. Everybody has those days where they don't want to do anything at all, maybe it was just a Nara thing. You didn't know exactly what genes in his body made him naturally a lazy head, but, there were just times that it kind of annoyed you. I mean yes, some people are naturally gifted with the gift of being amazingly intelligent, but sometimes when you barely put effort, it tends to be frustrating. Especially when you surrender too easily. It just happened to be that moment when you saw Shikadai swiftly dodging Boruto's attacks during the Chūnin Exams, your eyes widening with curiosity, happy-shocked, and happiness when you saw his perfect-timed Shadow Imitation on Boruto before Boruto's clone was able to hit Shikadai's cheek. You had your hopes held high for Shikadai since he can easily defeat anybody with his clan's technique and his intelligence, heck, you even brought some flowers from Inojin's flower shop to present to Shikadai after his match. Sure it seemed a little cliche, but you were broke and Inojin happened to offer you some of the flowers: Solidago, meaning success for this special boy since you were sure that he was going to win. It wasn't before long that your smile fell when Boruto's next surprising shadow clone jutsu set up, Shikadai sighing before raising his arms in surrender. You clenched your jaw before getting up from your seat and storming out with the bouquet in your hands, ignoring the begging calls from Inojin and Chōchō to chill and come back. You waited outside the arena with the bouquet in your arms, ignoring the footsteps coming behind you. You sighed as two arms hugged you from behind, a long sigh released from Shikadai, "Look..." he began, "I know that I let you down back there...." You crossed your arms and growled, "damn right you-" "I wasn't finished." Shikadai interrupted you bluntly before sighing again, "But I just want to let you know..that just because I surrendered, doesn't necessarily mean that I lost the fight..." Before you could even protest, an announcement was made how Boruto had been caught cheating and was disqualified, making Shikadai the official winner of the match. "Wait..so...you-!" "Apparently so" Shikadai answered with a smirk, "I guess I won...!" You stuttered a bit before calming down, presenting the bouquet of flowers to him with a tsundere blush, "F-For my winner...!" You mumbled, a tiny blush dusting his cheeks before accepting the flowers. Then you saw it, not a lazy action or a bored expression or a sly smirk, but nothing more than something that you always wanted to see something that he wouldn't do with a sloth expression: A genuine smile..presented to you. "Thank you, (f/n)..." he thanked you genuinely, going over to you and pecking your cheek before returning to the arena to present himself as the winner of the faceoff. Your face burned as you delicately touched your cheek with your shaking hand, a smile crossing your face. Turns out, he could do something without having to put much effort:
Being humble...

Metal Lee
Work-A-Holic
You knew that in order to make it through the ninja life, you had to work your hardest. Well, with this boy, he really takes this quote dead serious. Each day, ALMOST 24/7, he would train his limbs out with 3,000 push ups, 5,000 single leg kicks on a tree, 6,000 handstands, and other exercises with a strict diet of Curry that would make you both worried and sigh at time. It was very surprising how this boy was not a muscular macho man already by all of these training and drills, he was as skinny as a green bean! But there were many times that you managed to sneak a glimpse at his worn/calloused hands/forearms that he wrapped up all the time, driving you so worried about his physical health that there were at times that you couldn't continue to bite your fingernails off from the effects of all of this nonstop training. You tried to tell him to take it easy and to calm down, but he would just simply shrug it off and continue with what he was doing, "Don't worry (f/n), I'll be alright!" Sadly, your worst fear came true during one of your training drills you were doing with Metal Lee when you both were doing some jumping-jacks when he all of a sudden, slowed down. You questioned him if he was alright, getting an exhausted nod before he collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. You quickly ran over to him and picked up his limp body up, shouting for help in distress as you arrived to the hospital as fast as your toned shaved legs possibly could before being met with some nurses who took him in the hospital to be checked in and taken care of. Hours passed by before you were able to see him again, only this time in a small white room with Metal Lee lying in bed with a white nightgown, a breathing mask covering his mouth to help him breathe and many bandages tightly wrapped around his hands and arms. You silently walked up to his hospital bed and sat beside him, gazing at his sleeping form and the way that he mumbled in his sleep here and there about Youth. You reached out to lightly brush away his thick black bangs before he began to stir, blinking while adjusting to the light with large dark eyes before weakly looking over to you. "(F-F/n)..?" He whispered to you weakly, "...wha..what happened to me...?" You gently shushed him as you explained to him briefly the details, stroking his hair softly with the hands you'd normally hit him on the head with. "Why do you overwork yourself so many times..?!" You asked him, "it's not healthy for you or your body to do this every single day and hour...?!" Metal Lee went silent when you asked him this, one of his bandaged hands reaching out to yours to hold before gently holding your hand, smiling gently. "Because like my father and my sensei..." Metal Lee began, "I want to prove to everybody that I can succeed as much as anybody else can without using Genjutsu or Ninjutsu..." his eyes flickered from your joined hands to your eyes, "And especially to the people that I care about the most...like the beautiful creature standing right beside me..." A tiny blush dusted your cheeks as Metal Lee weakly bent his head down and softly kissed the top of your hand, a smile forming on his face before he pulled you into a soft hug. So...it wasn't that Metal Lee wanted to overwork for pleasure or for awards:
But because he is determined to prove himself worthy to the world...just like Green-Suit orange-legwarmer Generation that he took after...

Inojin Yamanaka
Insensitivity
To be strong is a good thing, but to be strong enough to not be aware of what you say is another whole wrong thing. Inojin had inherited his father's big uncautious mouth and tends to make a lot of outbursting comments on a certain subject. Wherever you went with him, you always felt the need to try to tape, sew, or find a way to clamp his mouth shut because it would either end up with you having to drag Inojin away from an angry person like Sarada, or, you'd have to take the blame before his mother would have Sakura teach Inojin a lesson. You'd try teaching him to be careful with what he said (which he tried to be careful with what he said), however, it would always end up in some kind of fight. Today happened to be the day when you two were going together to deliver a message from Ino to Choji about the next Ino–Shika–Chō training meetup. Everything was going well when you delivered the message with Inojin, having a slight chat with Chōchō before heading home. "And that's the last time I'm ordering plain tea while traveling!" You concluded happily, Chōchō's laughter echoing across the room while the color of her face was transforming from chocolate brown to a maroon-reddish color. "OMG, that was DA best story I've heard the whole day!" She exclaimed out loud, resting her head on your shoulder while trying to catch her breath. "So, are you coming over to play video games with Shikadai and I tomorrow? We're playing some of the new arcade games that JUST came out!" She gave you a big smile filled with hope, you on the other hand nervously swallowing down your saliva. To be honest, you really didn't enjoy playing games with her since she always kept greasing up the video game controllers with the chips she always ate while playing games which made it hard for you to play games easily and have tried to avoid playing video games with her, but, she was always a good sport so you tried your best to try to play along with her and pretend to not get irritated by her bad habit. You tried to fake smile, "Oooo, I can't go this weekend! I have a LOT of errands to do at home!" You lied, the girl frowning at your response. "Oh...I see" She responded a bit sad, "well..it's alright, we can try next time!" A wave of relief came over as you mentally cheered in victory, only for the victory to end in a bitter way. "Hold it right there, you liar!" Inojin called you out, pointing a finger at you with an angry look on his face. Both you and Chōchō looked at him surprised, you silently shaking a bit from Inojin's harmful comment and Chōchō being confused , "You're just lying to Chōchō so that you don't have to deal with greasy controllers! Don't you have any shame at all at what you've said?!" "I...I....." You had lost words, and Inojin wasn't lying: It was the honest truth. Inojin crossed his arms at you like an adult, "Well, what do you have to say about this...?" he questioned you, raising an eyebrow at you and tapping his foot as he awaited for your answer. You stared at Chōchō and sighed sadly, guilt filling your heart, "He's right...I was lying...." You confessed to her with your head hung down in shame as Chōchō stared back at you with sadness in her eyes. "I just...I didn't like how you would eat chips while games with us because you'd always grease them up before I get to play..I'm...Can you please forgive me?" Chōchō looked at you sadly but smiled at you warmly, "If you were so bothered by that, you should have told me in the first place!" she explained to you, "I wouldn't mind to clean my controllers so that they wouldn't be so greasy!" You sniffed and looked at her, "R-Really?" You asked her, getting a nod from the girl before hugging her tightly. "Besides (f/n), the only time I don't forgive anybody is when they insult my friends..!" Chōchō finished, a smile forming on both of your faces. You looked up to see Inojin smiling warmly at you with his eyes closed with happiness. You smiled at him as a thought struck you, He wasn't being mean to you:
Inojin just wanted you to be truthful to your friends...

Mitsuki
Free-Minded
You always loved the idea of having a guy who was calm yet fearless, however, he tended to be so introverted at times that it seemed that he was keeping things from you but yet he wasn't afraid to spit out his own opinions. There were times when you questioned him about simple things such as his school work or how was his day, he would always respond with a simple 'yes' or 'no'; However, if it were a question questioning his family, he would always go quiet and simply smile at you with, "Another time" or "Not today." It annoyed you how he would pat you on the head based on your difference in height, but it annoyed you more on the way he would keep certain things from you, and then spit out his own thoughts at the wrong DANG time! It just happened to be one of those days where you were with Mitsuki on a mission collaboration with both of your teams to track down another wild panda. You were right on the right track and perfectly balanced as you hopped branch to branch in the bamboo forest when you accidently lost your footing when you hopped at the wrong time and slipped, your breath cut off as you screamed when your body fell 15ft towards a large body of water. You closed your eyes as your body fell into the cold water, embracing the coldness of the blue liquid that surrounded you before you struggled to swim back to the surface. Oh wait, you can'twhile because you never wanted to learn with your little sister constantly wanting piggyback rides during your breaks. You frantically screamed for help while struggling to keep your head above the water, thrashing your arms in the water to try to float your heavy body. You couldn't see well with your eyes closed but felt a cold hand stretch and pull you out swiftly out of the water, coughing as a somewhat warm body held you to their chest and tried to comfort you. "You're a terrible swimmer." you heard Mitsuki say as both of your team members came to help your shivering and coughing form. "S-Shut up..." you mumbled as Mitsuki warmed his body temperature to warm your cold bones, "you're always making stupid comments at the wrong time..." Mitsuki giggled like a school girl as you looked away, "It's a bad habit, I know" Mitsuki tells you as Sensei Konohamaru takes out blankets and your Sensei gives commands to everybody else, "That's why this week I'm going to give you swimming lessons so you won't almost drown again." He gave you a slight smirk, "Private Lessons~." You're face changed from blue from the cold to a bright red as Sensei Konohamaru took you into his arms away from Mitsuki to a nice fire he set up and wrapped blankets around you to warm up, Mitsuki sending you a wink before he left with Sarada, Boruto, and your other teammates. A smile spread across your lips as you warmed up by the fire; however, you realized something about Mitsuki. Sure he did comment wrong things or responses at the wrong time, however:
He was just a blueberry-head who is willing to help and save others...
