The cool air blew around Akaashi as he slowly walked to Bokutos house. He pulled up his scarf over his mouth and sighed. Days like this were the worst. It always made him feel like he was ill. Soon enough he got to Bokutos door but something felt different.

Something felt. Odd.

He knocked on the door and it slowly opened. The owlish looking boy popped his head out of the crack and invited Akaashi in. "Why did you call my over Bokuto-San" Akaashi said taking off his coat. "Akaashi. I-I" Bokuto took a deep breath.

"Akaashi. I don't love you anymore"

Those words hit Akaashi like a freight train. The boy felt as his whole world just crumbled around him. "I'm sorry" Bokuto said. He looked down. He couldn't look into Akaashis eyes. "I refuse to believe you Bokuto-San" Akaashi said gripping onto Bokutos shirt collar and yanking him into a passionate kiss.

The kiss didn't feel like when they kissed before

It felt as if Akaashi was kissing a stranger. Bokuto pulled away. "I told you Akaashi" He sighed. Akaashi fell to the floor. this couldn't be happening. It felt right yesterday. What was happening today. "No matter how many kisses you give me. No matter how many times we have sex. It won't feel like it did before"

"My heart just won't beat for you the same" Bokuto looked up to the ceiling. There was no way he could look at a sobbing Akaashi. "I knew this day would come. I knew I wasn't bound to get a happy ending like all those story's my mother used to tell me when I was a kid" Tears fell down Akaashi face faster.

"But all those story's. They never talked about two boys falling in love. I guess we're lovers in a dangerous time Bokuto" Akaashi let out a giggle. "Just to think I was happy yesterday" He wiped his tears with his sleeve. "I thought we could make our own happy ending you know. Our fairytale" Akaashi stood up to look Bokuto in the eyes.

Bokuto couldn't help but feel guilty. This was his best friend, his lover and he made him cry. "But this isn't a fairytale. This is reality. And I've never been a friend with reality ever since day one" Akaashi sighed. "A-Akaashi" Bokuto started to tear up. "Goodbye. Bokuto-San" Akaashi took his coat and stormed out of the house. Bokuto fell to the ground and started to cry. This wasn't what he wanted. He wanted to be with Akaashi. But deep down there was a voice telling him no.

It took a while for Bokuto to get up, but when he did, he saw that Akaashi had forgotten his scarf. The boy took the scarf and wrapped it around himself. It smelled like his past lover. He couldn't help but sob. His one chance at truelove and he threw it away in an instant.

Akaashi got home and he instantly ran into his room without even saying hello to his family. He threw his coat on the floor and curled up in his bed. He didn't cry. He couldn't cry. He just laid there and that hurt more.

Soon a slight knock got applied to his door and it opened. "Bro. What's wrong. Did something happen with Bokuto" Akaashis sister, Sakurako walked into his room. "Nothing happened" Akaashi threw his sheets over is head. "Keiji, I'm your older sister. I've been with you ever since you were born. I know when something's wrong" Sakurako sat down and rubbed her brothers back. "He broke up with me" Akaashi started to sob. "Its ok. Cry Keiji" Sakurako helped him sit up. "I'm s-sorry sa-Sakurako" Akaashis voice broke between sobs. "Don't apologize Akaashi. You didn't do anything wrong" Sakurako pulled the black haired boy into a hug.

They sat like that for a while. Nothing seemed to bother Akaashi. He slowly drifted off to sleep after being tucked in by his sister.

Keiji didn't sleep long. He awoke only 20 minutes later. He sluggishly walked into the kitchen to get food. His parents didn't care about him. At this point, it seemed like no one did. "Where's Sakurako" Akaashi rubbed his eyes. "She went out" his mother said. Akaashis parents are abusive so his sister never hangs around. Only his sister gets him.

"Hey Keiji. Someone's here to see you" Akaashis dad said as he walked into the kitchen. A million different things flooded Akasshis mind. He slowly walked to the door and there, standing still with a frown on his face was none other then Koutarou Bokuto. "Akaashi. Im sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you" Bokuto started to cry. "You meant what you said" Keiji closed his eyes. He felt a strong punch to his gut.

Akaashis eyes jolted open to see his dad over his face. "TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH TO WAKE UP" he screamed yanking Keiji out of his bed and kneeing his stomach. The black haired boy fell to the ground and coughed up blood. His dad continued to attack him. Keiji looked up and saw his sister. Her grey eyes widened and filled with tears. "KEIJI" She screamed and pulled him away from their father.

The last thing Akaashi saw was his sister getting punched in the lip before he passed out.

Bokuto walked down the street slowly with Akaashis scarf wrapped tightly around his mouth. He sat down on a lone bench. The cold air was nothing compared to what was happening inside him. Everything felt cold. Not only the world, but himself. Bokuto looked up and saw an young women running with a middle aged teen in her hands. Tears streaming down her face. It didn't take long to notice who it was. It was Akaashi and his sister. Sakurako's long black flowed fastly behind her as she ran with Akaashi in her arms. Thousands of scenarios got tossed around his mind. The one that stood out the most was..

Akaashi must've tried to commit suicide. And it was his fault.

Bokutos legs felt wobbly and his arms felt weak. "AKAASHI" He screamed and ran into the road. Some one pulled him back and held him by his arms. He looked back and it was Kuroo. "LET ME GO" Bokuto struggled. "Bokuto please calm down" Kuroo said. Bokuto fell to the ground and stared into Akaashis sisters eyes who had stopped once he screamed. She had a cut on her lip and a stab wound which made blood pour from her side. Bokuto shivered in fear. It must've hurt like hell but she stopped. He looked at Akaashi who was all cut up. He had blood pouring from his mouth and blood all over his clothes. Sakurako quickly turned and kept running towards the hospital.
