All Heroes

My hair isn't red,
My eyes aren't blue,
And if they tell you I am feisty,
Know it isn't true.

I can't fire an arrow
Nor can I wield a sword;
I don't come from a family
Of ladies and lords.

My mind is dull,
And my words are soft;
My feet are slow,
And my hands are rough.

I am no hero
That you find in books,
But you can see them in each of us
If you know where to look.
