Lockdown pt. 2 [15]

Aphmau.

I didn't enter into the nearest classroom.

Neither did Katelyn.

All I could think about was her.

"Where is she?!" Katelyn asked.

"She has to be close. We had English next." I said tippy toe walking trying to look for the petite girl.

The hallway started to clear a little bit and I finally saw her.

"Aphmau!"

"Laurance?!"

I motioned her to come towards me and she ran.

I wrapped my arms around her and we all ran towards AP English.

We opened the door to a bunch of the AP students and some other random people.

The lights were off and he students were sitting against the shelf.

My teacher signaled us the lock both of the doors and cover the windows.

we did as told and we sat down on the floor.

"Laurance why are we in a lockdown?" Aphmau whispered.

I shrugged.

I heard heavy footsteps outside in the hallways.

I tensed up a bit and Aphmau's grip on me for tighter.

Katelyn clenched her fist.

Something isn't right.

More heavy footsteps followed and someone started banging on the door.

Aphmau jumped and threw her head into my chest.

I adjusted, and put her petite body on mine as she kept her head in my chest silently sobbing.

"Shh." I so as rocking her and running my fingers through her hair.

Kayelyn gave me an approving nods and she went more by the door investigating.

Aphmau calmed down.

But she was still in the same exact place.

She laced her fingers with mine and I smiled.

There are many police cars and helicopters outside the school.

And the person who's in the school is from the Tu'la region.

I don't know how they ended up here in the first place.

They may or may not be armed. We still don't know that yet.

Katelyn finally eased up and sat down near us.

She was resting her hands in her knees, and had her back against the wall.

Occasional footsteps of police officers or other people would be there.
