For almost all classes you will need to take notes.
Make sure you take good notes throughout the school year. The better the notes you take the easier the year will be.
I know for most eighth graders there are finals. In my math class we got to use our notes on our final. The better of notes you take the better the chance you have of getting good grades.
Make sure that you can read your notes. Don't make it to where your notes are all over the page. Use the all the space you can though. Don't waste paper on notes. This will make it to where you have less paper to worry about.
Keep all of your notes. I don't mean hoard your notes till the end of the year what I mean is keep all of your notes till the end of the semesteror if you have finals, till the end of the year. Keeping your notes helps you study for tests and helps you go back to the lesson if you need help on anything later on.
