Friends,
Are worth keeping,
Friendship,
Lasts longer than any relationship,
Because the bond,
You have,
Will help strengthen,
You and your friend,
With trust and loyalty,
You two are royalty.
Friends,
They're there to be,
Be the shoulder to cry on,
To be the one that you can rely on,
And talk to at 3am,
About random and nothingness,
It's all a finesse,
That you two have perfected.
Friends,
They can't trump your family,
But they can be close to it,
And become part of it,
Without you knowing it,
They'll be family,
And you'll ride until the end.
Friends,
Sometimes they don't last until the end,
Sometimes life gives different routes for them,
And they go left instead of right,
With you on the right,
You two go away,
Out of each other's sight,
But the memory of each other,
Lives on,
And their impact on your lives,
Are imprinted into your soul.
Friends,
No matter what,
They'll be with you till the end,
Now in present,
Or in spirit,
They'll be there,
And you'll be the same,
Cherish them,
Because they can easily run away,
So hold on,
Because they'll be the safety railing,
On this roller coaster named life.
