2 Is Better Than 1.

Couple hours later.

Riley's POV

"Hey Ry?" Alex says.

Again those dang butterflies.

"Ya... what's up?" I say.

"Wil- will you go out with me?"

Alex says.

He just said that didn't he?

Good golly goodness.

The hours before.

Still Ry's POV

What did I do to Eric?

He's already one of my best friends and he's not talking to me the way he usually does.

Still, what did I do?

I feel terrible about it.

And the sad thing to say was that he was my very first best friend.

I've never had one before and well, as I say that I've actually never had a boyfriend before either.

That's sad to say.

I have to ask him what's wrong, I hope it's not anything bad...

He better not lie to me.

I walk up to Eric.

"Here I go" I whisper to myself.

I walk up to Eric and give him a big hug.

I don't know what went even over me to do it.

But... I did.

Eric literally jumped in the air when I hugged him.

Which, of course makes me fall in my butt.

Oh joy.

Eric looks around confused but finally finds me on the ground.

His face went from confused to worry in just a split second.

"Riley, I am so sorry.. did I hurt you?" He looks at me with a worried look and helps me up.

"Ya, I'm fine." I say "I just wanted to hug you today... that's weird isn't it?"

Eric starts laughing at me, this is why he's my best friend..

He doesn't mind that I'm a little weird...

Or a lot of weird.

"Uh Eric." I say

Eric stops laughing and listens to me.

"Did. Well did I hurt you this morning... you looked sad as me and Alex walked into math class... I didn't know what I did and I feel terrible about it..."

I look up at Eric, be pulled me into a hug a held me there for a while.

He finally let go and looked at me with warm eyes.

"Why would you ever think that Riley? I will never be mad at you, your my girlfrie- I mean best friend."

I laugh at him.

"Ya your best friend"

We laugh together and walk down the hall when Alex stops me right in the middle of the hall.

" Hey, uh Ry do you want to hang out later." he says

My heart starts beating a thousand beats a minute.

I smile at him.

"Of course, when do you want to hang out.. after school?"

I say.

He smiles. "Ya, that would be perfect.. do you want me to pick you up?"

I smile, again.. I have problems with smiling.

"Ya.. what time?"

I say

"Uh... would 6 be ok?"

"Perfect." I say. He smiles at me and walks off.

Gosh he's perfect.

After that I walk to my class...

Boring chemistry..
