Chapter 15
Movies and Sadness.




Riley's POV



It wasn't long until we made it to the movies.


The whole ride Maggie was singing like a crazy women and Alex was trying to tell her to shut up.


Trust me. It was hilarious.



We get out of the car and go to the ticket booth.


The person at the ticket booth was decent, not too mean, not too nice.


We got our tickets and walked into the movie theater.


Little kids were everywhere, laughing and playing the arcade games while the parents were at the food station trying to get their popcorn and candy.



Maggie ran away from us and ran to the arcade section.


"She grows up so fast!" Alex says.


I smile up at him.


"I would take that back if I where you, she's fighting with a little kid right now!" I say.



I really wasn't lying, she was fighting a little kid to play the arcade game.



Alex starts laughing his butt off and I chuckle a little since it hurts to laugh.



Finally we get our food and walk to the movie.


Alex holds my hand and we walk happily towards the movie.


Maggie wasn't too happy with that so she made me hold her hand also.


Alex starts laughing and Maggie smiles happily.


We end up at the movie but before the movie started I had to use the bathroom.


When the body calls the body calls.


I walk out of the movie section and search for the bathrooms.


But, You'd never guess who I saw.


I saw Eric and Abigail holding hands.

I feel my body go tense and tears start to prick in my eyes.


I try to walk past them but Abigail trips me and makes me land flat on my face.


Eric pulls her away and she starts laughing like a hyena.


I pick myself up and feel myself start to cry.



I run to the bathroom and hide in the stall.



Why wouldn't he stop her?


Why, why me?


I pick myself up and stand up.


I will not lose to her. I will be strong and I will not lose my dignity.


I walk out of the stall and look at myself at the mirror.


I looked terrible.


My eyes were blood shot and my makeup was all over my face.



That's just great.


I grab a paper towel and put water on it. I wipe my makeup off and throw the wet paper towel away.



I fix my hair and put it up in a bun. I straighten myself and look at the mirror. "Ready."
I say.


I will walk out there with confidence and watch the movie with my best friend and boyfriend.


Even if it kills me.


I walk out of the bathroom and walk back to the movie.


Eric and Abigail are nowhere in sight.


Thank goodness for that.



I walk into the movie right when it began. Alex gave me a smile and Maggie looked curiously at me.



"Where were you?" she says.



"Just lost for a while." I say.


She looks at me with disbelief and continues to watch the movie.


I'm safe for now.

Maggie's POV


Riley was acting weird.


She seemed worried and disoriented.


Something else happened when she went to the bathroom... I can sense it.


We were in the car driving back from the movies.


The movie was great!


I think we watched cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.

I know, I know it might be a little kid movie but who wouldn't go see it?


The car stops and we end up at a diner.



"AWESOME, FOOD!" I say.


Alex laughs at me and we walk into the diner.


It was just us in there but that's good, No wait for us!


We sit in a booth. Riley sits with Alex and I sit by myself.


Single lady over here!


We pick out our food and order.


I picked out a hamburger and Riley picks out a hotdog, while Alex picks out a steak.


I know right, meat lovers over here!



After about 20 min the food comes and we all dive in.



IT WAS DELICIOUS!



I love food.



Alex pays and we leave the diner and finally end up at Riley's house.


Alex opens the door and you'd never guess who we saw when we walked in.
