How to incorporate smut into a story. (thanks @castihellodean for this request)

So, everyone wants to know how to incorporate smut into a story. I mean, let's be real. We've all probably come across a fanfic where larry have suddenly started making out from nowhere, am I right?

My advice is, build the scene up. Plan out the chapter so it runs smoothly, have ideas, sexual tension, and have in mind how the chapter's going to start and end.

When you build the scene up, you have to remember the direction of the story. This won't only help you write smut, but just help you with writing in general. Don't be talking about spaghetti one second then be talking about quantum physics the next.

I'm actually laughing at myself because I don't even take my own advice, but that's the way the world spins.
