I walk through my house door and see George and Alex looking at me.

"You didn't text us" George said

"Sorry, I kind of got distracted" I shrugged my shoulders and dropped my bag on the couch.

"Did the dick have it?" Alex laughed a little

"Yes actually" I smile

"Just stay away from him Hadlee, you obviously don't like him for a reason" Alex says and then bites into his apple

"Don't worry Alex" I put my phone on the table and walk myself to the bathroom. Once I get out I find Alex searching through my phone "Alex what the hell around you doing!" I snatch the phone out of his hand.

"Who the fuck is daddy!" He yells

"Daddy?" George looks confused

"Hadlee is going out with some daddy tonight" Alex looks at George with a concerned look

"Guys stop, it's not what you think" I try to explain

"Just tell us who daddy is" George basically demands

"It's.. Uh... This guy I met. Yeah, his names Taylor. He did that as a joke" I nervously fake laugh

"When do we get to meet this Taylor?" Alex asks me

"Well we can figure that out later, um I have to go get ready" I sprint up the stairs and close my door, keeping those two idiots from asking me anymore questions. I grab my phone and change Nicks contact from "daddy" to "Nick".

Hadlee:

Thanks, I just had to lie to my brothers about who "Daddy" was

Nick:

Oh no problem princess. Be ready in thirty minutes, give me your address

Hadlee:

3490 Maple Leaf Road, it's literally right next to the school

Nick:

Okay, see you soon ;)

I nearly throw up with that winky face. I don't change and I just put on some mascara and grab the money out of the jar I have in my room. I hurry down stairs and ask Alex "Is Belle home yet?"

"No, she will be in like an hour. Are you about to leave for your date" Alex winks at me

"Yes. When she asks, say i'm out with a few friends"

"Yes ma'am" he replies. I feel my phone vibrate and look down at the text from Nick

Nick:

I'm here. Hurry up

I walk out the door, waving bye to Alex and immediately see Nick leaning against a black jeep.

"Nice car" I say to him

"Thanks, it's my dads" he replies. I jump in the passenger seat and Nick shuts the door behind me. Once Nick gets in and starts the car, he turns up the radio. Basically keeping us from talking.

"So where are we going?" I ask

"Remember how you'd show me around Chicago?" Nick smirks

"It was an offer, not a promise" I say back

"Well your offer is being taken" Nick says as he drives into downtown Chicago. Nick parks his car at a simple restaurant and helps me get out. "Before you get any ideas, we aren't eating here. We're walking around"
