She stood, she felt
Her heart melt
Her eyes spoke
Her lips sealed
She was not alone
But lonely
She felt disowned
Wandered for truth in sun rays
Had enough of player ways
She smiled, fake
She tried, for her sake
But she was shattered
Broken
Tarnished from inside
Her eyes sharp, she tried to hide from misery
Her life was full of misery
She told me, she wasn't alive anymore
May be breathing but not living
She wasn't deprived of anymore
Because there was nothing left
She was in dark
She waved at me weakly
Her happiness all left
Curiously, I made the call
And asked her address
She said don't worry
Just the mirror on your bedroom wall.Ishita Singh
