You located your phone near your ear.
"[F/N], What is it, dear?", You were happy to listen to his voice again.
"Shuuya", Your voice cracked.
You tried to keep calm and hold back the tear but ended up silently crying.
"[F/N], Don't cry, dear", He knew.
You didn't answer.
"Have you eaten? How's Yuuka?",
"Have you eaten, Shuuya?", You asked back.
The line went silent for a while.
"Yeah, I have, [F/N]", You couldn't help it but to weep.
"[F/N]",
"Come home, Shuuya", Your voice were chocked by tears.
The line went silent again.
"I'll come back home as soon as my work is completely finish", He sounded a bit disappointed.
"I missed you too, [F/N]. Days after days, I was too busy to even return your calls and texts for the past few days. Now, I have the opportunity to get to listen your voice again. They are like music to my ears, sweetheart",
"Promised me you would come home safely?",
"Of course, sweetheart. I want to be there when you're having our baby",
You wiped your tears and cracked a small smile.
"Thank you, Shuuya. You meant everything to me",
"You two are my world, [F/N]", You looked out at your 5 months pregnant belly.
