I don't know what to do
I don't know what to say
To make you want to be with me
Or to get you to stay
But I have come to realize
Although you may be ill
That I am complete poison
To people like me still
It's difficult to handle
The burden of another
When you're hardly stable
You'd think you need each other
But alas the real truth is
You really have to learn
Your are your own best friend
So let your life take a turn
Mental illness is ever so
Difficult to predict
Sometimes you just can't have
Both parties being sick
You'd think that maybe
It'd be good
To have team work
Maybe you should
But be cautious
And watch how you do
Put two of us together
You may sink without clue
