~The Next Day~

(Madison's P.O.V.)

I just finished taking a warm bath and wore my uniform. I decided to go downstairs to check on everything when I saw my mother in the kitchen.............cooking?
This is new.

"Mom? Is that really you?" I asked her playfully while drying my hair with a towel

"Yes this is the first time you've seen me in the kitchen cooking food. now, don't mock me and go to Tricia and she's going to fix your hair

I nodded at her command and ran back to my room where Tricia awaits along with her comb and some ribbons. Ugh, better ready because my hair is going to be pulled a million times

Once I survived that hair-ripping moment with Tricia, I examined my hair through the mirror. She did a French braid! The same type of hair style that I love ten years ago. Before the accident that wiped out all of my memories. Some say I hit my head on the pavement while some say I almost drowned and someone tried to save me but failed. I don't know which one to believe

"Thanks Tricia" I thanked her and she smiled back at me

I went down the stairs with my hair in a braid and left for school.

School. Which means I get to see those fake girls and their clown-faces, annoying subjects, and of course, Luke Hemmings.

As I enter the massive school, there was a flat screen tv that shows the school's latest news and almost everyone was watching. The 'reporter' was talking about the upcoming trip to a zoo where the students will have to make a presentation about their chosen animal.

When I was about to walk past it, the following news that she said made me stop my tracks

"And for the following news, our very own Luke Hemmings was seen with a girl?  Yesterday, he was seen with the new girl, Madison Harries, behind the school talking" she explains. On the screen, a picture of me and him was showed. From his position, it looks like we we're about to kiss.

I looked at the crown in front of the television screen, there were girls who fainted and some boys who were whistling with joy. My heart was pounding with fear so, I quickly left and ran to my locker so I could run and hide to my next class; Science. I sat at the end of the class and covered my face. While students are entering, I can hear them whispering things about me such as;

"Is that her?"

"This bitch stole him from me"

"Where's her necklace?"

"She's so lucky"

"What a whore"

and a lot of things. I sighed and opened my book before the bell rings. As I flip the pages, i felt someone's presence beside me

"Hey Madi, We found out about the....thing?" Ashton said

"He probably got it wrong. That can't be that girl." i chuckled

"Maybe he did but, if he is right, don't hurt him. He's been waiting and broken for ten years. You might be the one that could change him" Ashton sincerely says and pats my shoulder before he leaves to his seat.

I sighed and Luke entered the class. He looks around the room probably looking for me. Once he found my spot, we looked at each other's eyes for five seconds before everything gets awkward. He walks up to me but i refused to look at him so instead, i kept my head down and pretend to be reading the book

"Madi, sit with us later at lunch." he says to me. I heard girls gasp and cries on their tables

"I don't want to" i replied back still not looking at him

I hear him groan in frustration which made me smirk.

"What if i kiss you? Would you go?" he asked

My eyes grew big. I lifted my head and saw his face five centimetres away from mine. My body is frozen and i can't move

"You're so cute when you're like this. I could keep this position all day" he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows
