Chapter 18- Greenhouse Drama

~Greenhouse Drama~

(Madison's P.O.V.)

After the most intense moment of my life, the class finally ended. Once the bell rang, I pulled Josh's hand with me towards the door and try, as much as possible, get lost in the crowd of students. I don't know what to feel right now. Should i get angry at Luke for punching my half-brother or feel quite delighted since i know, he still cares. Waves of mixed feelings are washing over me and it's making me feel tired even though the day has only just begun but, one thing's for sure. My heart is exhausted with all of this drama.

"I have gym next. You?" Josh asked and i checked my time table

"Science" i replied and sighed. Luke is literally right in front of me in that class and the worst part, Calum is beside me. Ever since the McDonald's incident, i never had the chance to talk to Cal. Not a single word.

"Do want me to walk you to your class?"

i shook my head, "Nah, it'll be fine. How about you? Need help on anything?" i asked back

"I'll be fine. I'll see you later, okay?" he went closer and kissed my forehead, "Take care of yourself, sis" he waved good-bye and we separated our ways. 

(Luke's P.O.V.)

"Did you see that?! He kissed her!" i angrily told Ashton and Michael

"If what you said it true that he and her are together, you can't do anything about it. I'm sorry but i'll have to be honest with you, Luke. I think you've already lost her" Ashton pursed his lips together and i am out of words. 

He's right. Because of a stupid accident, i've lost Madison, the only person i care about

"How important is she to you?" Mike asked 

"Very. Before i met her, all i think about is problems. I always think about what girls think about me or if i wear the proper clothes for the day or sometimes, i imagine the impressions of others towards me. Am i cocky? Snob? Stupid? Jerk?" i explained

"Then, what happened after you met her? What changed?" Ash questions, "What are you thinking every time you're with Madison?"

I sighed, "Her." i replied, "Every time i'm with Madison, my mind clears up. It's like my whole universe has quickly concentrated towards her. She makes me so happy that i don't even know what to do with my life now" i started to walk towards the Science class with my head hanging low

I entered the class seeing Madison looking out at the window and Calum right beside her, fiddling with his phone. Our eyes met for 5 seconds but she quickly looked away. 

"Lukey! Come here!" Patricia squeals and pats the stool beside her

I see Madison's eyes roll and made feces behind Patricia.

Is she jealous? Does she still care?

I sat on my normal chair and opened my notebook and took my only pen to write a note for Madison

 Meet me later a lunch? Please, i need to talk to you. Give me one last chance to explain.

Luke

I read the note over twenty times to make sure i won't look stupid. I folded it into an airplane and threw it towards her table. Once it landed and took her attention, i quickly looked away and nervously waited for her reply. When i felt something fly beside me, i shakily opened the letter to see her response

Fine. Meet me later at the greenhouse and i am only giving you ONE chance.
