Temptation

Chapter 6

Holding my phone, I saw twelve missed calls from Shelby but none from Chase. I might as well go to school. Without Shelby here I don't know which clothes to wear so I wore a too cool for school crop top, shorts and trainers. I put my hair into a low ponytail. Walking out the door I was confronted by Shelby. "Why didn't you answer my calls? questioned Shelby Thinking of coming up for an excuse was harder than I thought so I said " I was really busy, sorry." He eyes were weighed down with sadness. " Come on then lets go."

Walking into school, I noticed all the girls were talking about something. " Hey Shelby, what's going on?" " Didn't you know, homecoming is coming soon and all the girls are talking about it." Walking into the classroom I saw Chase sit near my seat, his eyes not caring. I sat down but totally ignored him. "Kira can I talk to you?" asked Chase " I looked at him with a hard stare " Sorry but like you said last night, I wish I never met you." He sighed " I never meant to-" "Just shut it Chase, your voice is giving me a headache." He instantly shut up but his eyes turned stormy grey. One moment I thought he growled. The class fell silent and I crossed my arms.

Class finally ended when I was approached by Aiden, the jock. " Hey, I was wondering if you would like to come to my beach party, it gonna be awesome and everyone's invited." I wasn't a party kind of girl but I had nothing else to do. " Sure Aiden I would love to come, thanks."

Entering my car, I was approached by Shelby. " Kira, can we go shopping for bikinis for Aiden's party." I almost forgot I needed by buy a better bikini so " Yeah, hop in I need to get new ones anyway.

Going from shop to shop, we landed in Victoria's secret. There were so many good choices. I had no idea which one to pick. I finally picked a pink fringe bikini. I'm gonna look so good in this.
