Temptation

Chapter 10

"I'm a siren." I looked at him " I thought sirens were beautiful yet dangerous creatures  who lured nearby sailors with their singing to shipwreck on the rocky coast of their island." He shook his head "That's an old myth, sirens are incredibly rare the reason is we can be any creature in the entire supernatural universe except one... humans." I tapped my chin so you can turn into a... a vampire!" Yes I can but it's quite uncomfortable to enter a completely different body." I nodded slowly. There were so many questions I wanted to ask but I didn't want to seem rude.

" What body are you in now, not that I'm complaining or anything." I giggled a little. "It doesn't matter right now." He seemed stressed out. "Is Miles and Shelby a..." I questioned " No, Shelby is an elf and Miles is a werewolf." I blinked I had no idea. "So what your saying is I'm friends with an elf her brother is a werewolf and so is her other brother. How is it possible your different species?" "It's complicated and you can talk to Shelby and Miles tomorrow about it." He turned away, I could feel he was worried and frustrated. I stood up and touched his shoulder

His body stiffened but he turned around. "Chase I'm sorry about Aiden." He looked at me and I tiptoed to get to his face. I closed my eyes and sighed. Once opened I could see his eyes, looking into mine penetrating my soul. I hugged him like I would to my teddy bear.

He than pulled away. I groaned, he was more cuddly than my teddy bear. "Kira, I want you to know that I would never hurt you; if I did I'll never forgive myself." I hugged him even tighter. "I know you won't hurt me, tell me what you were going to tell me at the river." He gently kissed my forehead, "I love you." he whispered in my ear I smiled and started crying. He kissed my nose. "I love you too Chase."
