"How everything in L.A. Going.?" I asked speed as I got into my uber
"Everything straight, I got it boss." He assured me
"Aight, you got all the product shipped.?"
"Yes, I got my shit handled what about yours and the club."
"Ye, I bought the club off the nigga hands, I got a meeting today with the owner."
"Oh yea, speaking of that I looked deeper into the shit, tell me why the girl you been telling us to look for is the owner of the club, that's why it been popping up."
"Ye, you kinda late, I figured that out the day before yesterday. I popped up at her club yesterday, I found her."
"You find out where she live, or that's what you want us to find out next.?"
"Naa, I got that part, it ain't Neva too hard fa me ya find my way inside Thea." I replied
"Well aight boss, hit me up if you need anything ."
"Aight, text me when the new stock drops."
"You already know." He stated before hanging up
I placed my phone in my pocket walking into the building, I already knew the meeting would be in the same room, so I took it upon myself to walk there.
"So, who did you sell the building to.?" I over heard jay ask Clark
"Well, he's -"
"He's righ hea." I smirked letting my presence become known
Jay turned around looking at me with the same expression she had yesterday.
"Jay'Lene , meet August Alsina the new owner of your club building." Stated Clark
"I have to go." She said gathering her things
"Do you guys already know each other.?" He asked
"Yea, we jus old friends." I spoke reaching over and grabbing one of her wrists, She looked up at me furrowing her eyebrows " ain't that righ, jay'lene."
"Yea.. Real old friends." She scoffed snatching away from me "I'll see you around Clark." And with that she left out of the room
"Thanks fa the meeting, Ima catch ya roun." I nodded before runnin off behind her
"August leave me the fuck alone." She spat as she entered the elevator
She tried to close it before I reached her but she failed, I ran into the elevator just in time before the doors closed.
