"Ya smell good bae." Aubrey complimented me as he walked into the bathroom sitting on my bench
"Thank you baby, it's Paris from Victoria's Secret." I smiled
"It smells amazing on ya, what's going down at the club tonight?"
"Uhhh, Chris is performing and so is August."
"August?" He furrowed his eyebrows
"Yes August." I laughed a little as I applied my mascara
"He makes music?"
"No, well not yet atleast." I smiled "we're surprising him, by playing a song he made in high school. I already surprised him with Chris, next I'm going to surprise them with Stacey."
"Stacey, the Bestfriend who faked his death, right right." He nodded "why you giving out so many surprises?"
"I don't know, I just like seeing a smile on my friends faces." I shrugged
"Mhm." He spoke "you and August been together a lot this past week haven't y'all?"
"I mean for him to see the kids, and to talk about the club yea, it takes up a lot of time."
"You fuckin him?" He questioned
I turned around looking at him angrily "I can't believe you'd even ask that shit." I scoffed
"Answer me, I just wanna know. Because y'all seem like the closests of friends when just two weeks ago you didn't want nothing to do with this nigga." He said standing up
"You act like a lot can't change within that time, we settled all the drama we had. We're just focused on the kids now."
He walked closer to me moving my braid from my shoulder "look I'm just tryna make sure you know you're mine." He said picking me up and sitting me on the counter
"Yes I know that baby, don't worry I'm not cheating on you with August."
He placed his hands on my waist gripping it a little as he pulled our torsos closer together " it's mine right?"
"It used to be his, but of course it's yours now baby." I laughed
Although I laughed he didn't find it funny at all, his face went straight as his grip grew stronger.
